If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine, this spot absolutely hits the mark. The fajitas were bursting with flavor — perfectly seasoned, sizzling hot, and loaded with all the good stuff. The standout, though, was the seafood soup: rich, savory broth packed with fresh seafood and even a whole crab sitting right in the bowl. Total showstopper.
The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the service couldn’t have been better — attentive without hovering, and genuinely friendly. Prices were surprisingly great considering the quality and the portion sizes, which were huge. No one is leaving hungry from here.
Overall, a fantastic Mexican restaurant that nails both flavor and experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Great spot for Mexican food near Milwaukee airport! The red snapper was fresh and flavorful, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Their ground beef tacos were also delicious! It’s very juicy, well-seasoned, and generously filled. Service was impressively quick, making it ideal for a casual but satisfying meal. Don’t miss their margarita buy 1 get 1 free promo on weekdays. Definitely worth a try!

Great variety of seafood dishes with my favorites being shrimp and whole tilapia. Many seafood dishes have a variety of styles available, my favorites are the mojo de ajo and ajillo preparations.
Chicken/pork/beef/etc dishes are fine but not up to par with the seafood.
Large and bright dining room. Service OK, nothing special but I have never had a problem getting food/drinks on time.

THE BEST restaurant to get authentic Mexican cuisine in the entire Milwaukee, WI area! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always hot, fresh and amazing. The seasonings on the meats are out of this world, and what’s in their heavenly salsa? Expect to have a satisfying meal with plenty of great drink options. The atmosphere is pretty chill but lacking slightly in the aesthetics department when it comes to the look of the restaurant. Over all, it is a great place to to get a great meal with great service, and the pricing is reasonable. It’s one of those spots, that once you dine there, you keep on thinking about the food you had. Instantly turned me into a regular customer, and I have to stop every time I’m in the area!

The Worst Service ever!! after years going into this place.
I travel a lot to Milwaukee from Chicago and every time we stop at Tzunami restaurant same location on Layton Ave
But today was terrible just with the waitress
She was not friendly at all she don’t even talk to us on any way of communications we asked for a few things and she just walk away never ask us if we need anything or come back to our table after we got the food.
I always recommend this restaurant to friends and family after today I will not!!!
I always ask for the check and this time I was told that I can go pay on the front…

Good food and salsa. We had enchiladas and combination plate with pitcher of margaritas. Margaritas were ok, not strong. Waitress did not speak good english. Fairly busy for a Thursday night. I would definitely return.

They have the best salsa in town. I think it’s great that this restaurant is well lit so you know exactly what you’re eating. I ordered a seafood melody soup that had wonderful assortment such as octopus that was so tender, squid, Crab, shrimp, and clams…served with saltiness crackers.. They were out of the red snapper so we went with the tilapia for my friend and it was delicious. It came with a special recipe potato salad,salad, rice, and limes. Definitely will go again.
