Small restaurant with only a few tables. The employees were very nice. The cook came out to talk to us. And ask if the food was ok. It is a family business. The food was delicious. It was a lot of food and I was able to reheat it the next day and it tasted great. I recommend them. Many blessings and support this local business.

I ordered a Shimp alfredo pasta, it was the worst thing that i could eat. I order a pick up and when i got there they forgot to put my order. I waited around 20 minutes and they gave this nasty pasta that i had to throw in the garage. The taste was really bad. First time that i order there and it will be my last time. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

“El Tronco de Lily’s” Because they had such great reviews. & We’re super glad We took the chance & go find out for ourselves! I love everything we got & We’re definitely going to be a regular now. The food so authentic made just rite you didn’t need to add anything. They give you so much food for a small amount of money. Customer service was great as well. Please go check them out you won’t regret it. JP

We get our Pastelios here when we need a large amount. They are always accommodating. Prices are good. We eat here or take home, been going here for about 7 yrs now. Never any problems. We don’t live in the city but it’s worth the trip!!

Retro Sinister Dark Mysterious Void
I love everything about this place. I first ordered them when I worked at the Imax by ordering using Grubhub. I got this plantain sandwich and another sandwich. Then I tried some other things after wards as I casually dropped by in the restaurant almost every month after work. Their food is very good, I highly recommend it! A lot of the food places here in Reading are amazing, there is no underestimating the Latin culture of their cooking. They do very well with their jobs. The restaurant across the street from El Tronco is also pretty good and on the same street (Franklin & 4th) 2 blocks down, which is the Juice Bar or La Chimi or something like that, they are pretty great to! And now I am ordering by DoorDash as of making this review!

The food and modest prices more than made up for the lack of ambiance in this restaurant. Best Spanish rice I’ve had and the chicken stew was pretty yummy. Delicious! I had the ribs, my husband had ox tail… OMG… amazing! Large servings of super-flavorful food. Doesn’t look like anything special from the outside, but very special on the inside!! YUM!!!
