This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Food and service are both excellent. I love the pollo azteca and the margaritas are yummy and strong. Ask for Jose Roberto to wait on you and Milton the owner is amazing. I have been coming here for years along with my entire office and family. They make an awesome taco bar for our office meetings at work too! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Our party of 9 was one of 3 large groups, but they gave quick, attentive service for everything from placing order, food coming out and drink refills!! Everything was delicious, and great portions that we couldn’t get through. Then they were even able to rectify a Google pay error I made which saved me from the extreme palpitations I was having until I spoke with them!

As I Walked in I was immediately smitten with the ambiance. The modern Latin music fills you with energy, makes you want to get up and dance. The bar is well stocked and looks so cool in very industrial kind of way. This is my second time here and I cannot understand why this restaurant has only gotten one star. The friendly service, Nehemiah was the best server and his and the attentiveness of the staff alone would give it a four star rating. The food …. One word: “DELICIOSO”. The steak loco was amazing. This dish may seem like a simple dish but is the Simplicity that makes it so delicious. The steak was of good quality tender and perfectly chargrilled. the rice was a little over cook but very well seasoned and the cheese was creamy and delicious! The soup was basic but again so delicious. It reminds you of home full of tender shredded chicken and full of well cook veggies (I suspect the veggies were frozen but honestly it didn’t matter) and they serve you a very large portion for 6.99 lunch. The only thing I dislike was the beef taco with the hard shell they hard shell of the taco was old. The beef enchilada with red sauce was quite exquisite with hints of cinnamon and cocoa quite interesting. LOVE THIS PLACE! For the area, for the price, for the service, for the ambience I give it a 5 star rating. Soooo if you are in Ringgold GA and you don’t know where to eat and you craving Mexican…. give them a try!

WATCH YOUR CHANGE!!!! Young girl at register cannot count! At first she got me for five dollars then when I questioned it took her forever to figure it out then she still got me for $1 . 10/5/24 lunch and had the Pollo Picante as the menu said if you like it hot, found it not to be hot as described. Rather mild with not much flavor. Chips and salsa were ok, salsa could use a bit of heat!

SALSA is the BEST! I frequent a lot of Mexican restaurants and for me the salsa is what makes me want to go back. El Trio #2 salsa has a right amount of heat that I can eat with chips without having to add cheese dip so that’s a win, not heavy on cilantro and the perfect amount of flavoring.
Food is equally excellent and the service was great as well. Atmosphere was a little off, only because it’s in a strip mall which I would’ve missed if someone had not told me to go there.

We were seated and immediately and he took our order right away. Even though there was a large party at the restaurant. We ordered the Trio dip which was ok (one of us liked it and one did not). We also ordered the Veggies Nachos Supreme, Chicken Chimichanga, and the Tapatia. The nachos were on flour chips and that dish was good. The Chimichanga had a strange flavor and the Tapatia was described as “fine.” We liked that they use ToastTab, so you can pay at the table. We would probably give them another shot, but it just fell into the “ok” but not great range. The prices are lower than other restaurants, so that was good.
