I came here on a whim because of a facebook post about their Canasta de Oaxaqueña. I would say everything was absolutely delicious and surprisingly everything’s homemade! So be aware that food times can take a bit longer than your average restaraunt experience. They are doing their best, and are so kind. I had a lovely server named Evelyn, and she was so kind! From the drinks, tortillas, and to the meats I was surprised to learn it’s all in house. I also got the menudo and would definately come back again and again for it. My friend got the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. A lot of restaurants will overcook the shrimp but this place had bouncy and perfectly cooked shrimp. I am pleasantly surprised and will come back again!!

Amazing food and customer service! Within a few minutes we knew we’d be coming back again. Can’t wait to work our way through the whole menu. The food is absolutely delicious made from scratch by the sweetest most attentive staff.
It may not look like much from the outside but come in and the restaurant is beautiful bright and clean. Don’t forget to grab some homemade some pan dulce too!

At first, I thought it was a regular restaurant, but as we sat down and explore the menu, we noticed it was a unique taste from Oaxaca not only was the food delicious but also the bakery that they have on the side with homemade hot chocolate from Oaxaca. definitely a place to come back with more family I give this place five stars because they also have really great service and it makes you feel welcoming in many different ways. This is our second time here, and we will be back again.

The owners were so sweet, for $28 we got this giant plate that’s meant for 2 but could have definitely fed 3 people we had so much left over.
The chorizo is made in house and was seasoned super well, the salsas were really unique and not like every other green and red salsa.
The owner also brought us a complimentary concha from the bakery side of the restaurant and it was so good!

Had an absolutely amazing lunch at [El toro taqueria & seafood.] The [chicken fried steak] was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender inside, bursting with flavor in the gravy. Our server which was the owner was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made everything feel subtle and relaxing. The food was a 10 out of 10. If you’re looking for something new, i would definitely consider this place. I will be back for more!

Food is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The owner and servers are super friendly. You come in and they greet you. The food is extremely tasty. The flavors all come together and melt in your mouth. The chef was extremely sweet to my daughter’s needs. She’s very peculiar about what she eats. The chef immediately took notice of this and adapted. He gave us a sandwich made just for her. I would definitely recommend this place.
