We went to El Toro for the first time last night and really enjoyed our dinners. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla with rice and beans and my hubby had the beef enchiladas. Both were very tasty. Their prices are fairly reasonable and they have great value lunch specials. Give them a try!!

Stopped by for a late lunch. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon with lots of available seating. Brought out 2 kinds of salsa with the tortilla chips, neither overly spicy and both were tasty. Chips arrived in a small bowl and which quickly needed to be replenished. The child menu was on paper and had some puzzles and we were brought a small package of crayons. We ordered burritos, one chicken for the kiddo, one shrimp fajita and one chile verde. We all enjoyed our selections and had some leftover to take with us. The place had a cold draft, or maybe it was the HVAC, but it was uncomfortable. Our waiter was very pleasant and knew a little of the area history when I had commented about coming to this restaurant in the early 1970s. My companion used the ladies room and advised me that floor was dangerously slick.

Walked in and the server was quite grumpy. She sat us but we asked for a different table where we could keep an eye on our vehicle. Major attitude. She ended up serving us. Read good reviews about Stormy but she must have been having a bad day. She got our food right and we got one smile, so that’s something. The steak fajitas were very bland. The Mexican pizza tasted like a quesadilla with meat. The supremo burrito was good as it had the fillings all the way through. Pepsi products… Yuck! It was quite a drive to get there and not the best experience.

2024-We moved away but I still come back frequently. Friendly staff, sad to see the older staff we’ve known for a long time leave (work at other locations or retire). Food is always good. Easy to get a seat and order right away.
