Upon approach to El Toro, I was mesmerized by the decor outside and going inside saw an authentic mexican decor as well! I decided to go into the bar as I was waiting on a routine oil change across the street at Cooper’s. The waitress appeared right away with a warm smile and sparkly eyes and asked if I wanted chips and salsa, to which I said absolutely! I then ordered the red sangria (a huge glass, by the way), which was 8.99! I browsed the menu and decided on a ground beef enchilada and wow! I really loved the enchilada sauce, and the beef was seasoned just right! I will definitely be back in the future and bring friends!

The steak fajitas are absolutely delectable! I hadn’t gone in for over a year my mistake! I ordered them and came back a day later because they hit the spot so much I wanted more! It’s a good place to meet up with friends and chat they don’t rush you and very good service!!!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our meals. However our son’s chicken strips were burnt. Our server wasn’t very friendly. I asked the hostess if she would have our server sing to my wife for her birthday. My son was so excited the entire meal. We tried to keep it a secret. Then at the end he dropped the desert off and said they don’t sing because of covid. Frustrating we didn’t even want the desert it was about the experience. My son was very upset and I was annoyed as well. We always love coming here and almost always have a great experience. This one just wasn’t up to the standard set from past experiences.

I don’t know if it was the crowd but our server kept forgetting our drink orders, we had to keep asking her for items and when we ordered dessert that had chocolate drizzled on top, it came without the chocolate and when we asked her where was the chocolate she said “oh, you wanted that? My first experience here was great! Service was top-notch, food was excellent and portions were plentiful. I ordered flautas for an appetizer and the chicken fajita burrito, as well as a margarita. And yes, they bring out fresh chips and salsa! I have zero complaints! Food was flavorful and authentic. Menu has tons to choose from, with something for everyone. Family-friendly atmosphere and prompt service. Will definitely be back again!

Stopped in for supper and we were seated quickly on a busy Friday evening. Bus person quickly brought waters, chips, and salsa. Food was above average, hot, and as we ordered. Very large portions, so you’ll fill up and get your money’s worth. Too full to try desserts, next time.
