I’ll say the chips were probably the best chips I’ve ever had at any restaurant hot and crisp. They make fresh ones every day about the taco salad. It was very good half chicken half beef. It does come with sour cream which I took off the main disappointment was no refill on water and if you want a refill on chips three dollars even if you have chips left and you want salsa at the dollar

We had fajitas & enchiladas, they were both very good. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon when we went, but there was no wait. The food came out fast for everyone at our table. Complimentary chips & salsa was good. My bf eats here pretty regularly and says his food has always been good. This was my first time and I’d go back.

I am not much to giving one stars, but the person that I had told me I couldn’t sit on a empty booth and set me to the back of the restaurant and never once did she check up on me I would have to call her out and she would roll her eyes when I would call her out because I was missing something or wanted to order extra stuff. The food was all right, but the service was bad on that girls behalf. I still left her a tip because I have also work in the service industry, but there’s no excuse to treat somebody regardless of your personal problems

We were traveling through Wahpeton back to MN and found El Toro. We are so glad we stopped! The restaurant itself is quaint and brightly decorated. The service was so unbelievably fast and friendly. And our food… simply amazing! The complimentary chips and salsa were some of the best we’ve ever had. We couldn’t believe how many selections to choose from on the menu and so reasonably priced. We had chicken chimichangas, beef taquitos, tamale and carne asada. This was some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had! We will definitely stop when we travel through again.
