This place right here is great, the service, food portions, flavor and authenticity was absolutely wonderful ! Our server was really kind, friendly and attentive, which are qualities that people look for when spending hard earned money. Kudos to this restaurant and I hope it’s quality never changes. We will definitely be dining here again!

Seriously have the best nights out when my wife and I walk in. The staff is so energetic and even during heavy nights they dont lose a step! We are cared for and the food tastes like someones abula is in the back making everything with love!! One of our favorite places at The Greene.

My family and I went for Taco Tuesday ($1.50 tacos). It was very busy, but staff was calm and friendly and we were seated in about 20 minutes (exact quoted time). The decorations were so cool!! The food was yummy and out to us quickly after ordering. We were served refills of our chips, dip, and drinks quickly and often. We will be back for sure!!

Food was great. We love that the guac is so light and tasty. My fajitas were awesome and my daughter loved the fish tacos.
We also watched no less than four birthday celebrations!
Extra points to the whole staff who never seemed to lose their motivation, even with back-to-back songs!

This was an evening visit, and IMO the servers are better in the eves than at lunchtime. Our servers went out of their way to accommodate special requests, and suggestions they made for orders were really helpful. I like carnitas, and they are good here. They allowed me to substitute Pico de gallo for salsa in the meal. There are several salads, as well, and my friends and I like the a la carte and appetizer selections if we want something less filling. The white cheese dip is also good. As a bonus, this locale is next to The Greene which is a great place to take a stroll, though in the Fall and Winter months it is dark by 7:15pm. Portions for the evening selections are big for me, so I always have a leftover take-home bag. They have it decorated for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead) which is the first few days of Nov, but it fits spooky Oct. for some. Personally, I think it would be a bit scary for little kiddos.

Our experience here is always amazing. The servers are well trained, friendly and patient. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious.
On a side note. If you eat chips, salsa, and queso dip for dinner with a pitcher of margaritas it’s totally acceptable.

Recommend Tuesday Taco special.
Good foods, but awful service.
We visited two time, first time was Tacos with wrong meats, which was ok for me.
But second time, we ordered more than 10 Tacos, 3 Tacos no lettuce and 10 Tacos no cheese.
But when the Tacos came, only that 3 Tacos without lettuce were right, but another 10 of them had cheese on it but no lettuce ( These 10 Tacos need lettuce, dude!)
And by the way, the waiter’s made wrong dishes we were fine, but his serve attitude was pretty bad , just left the bill and disappeared, so we checked out in the front.
Better upgrade the service.
And if you have food allergies , you better repeat over 3 times to the waiter/waitress in this restaurant,it’s very possible something wrong! And it’s super annoying if one restaurant’s waiter and waitress always made something wrong.

We decided to try this out for lunch. The chips and salsa were very good! However, our food was not that good. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and the edges were overcooked. The rice and beans were okay. I had to cut the edges of the eggs off with my fork. My husband’s chimichanga tasted like something you would heat up after being frozen. I’m from an area where the mexican food is authentic and unfortunately, this one is not authentic. Even the flour tortillas looked and tasted like something you would buy from the store and not homemade. They were flat.

Always excellent friendly service and super delicious food! My favorite restaurant for many years! New on the menu: Street tacos with grilled jalepenos and charro (cowboy) beans. Also tried arroz con carne deluxe (grilled meat and veggies with mexican rice witth white cheese sauce on top) which was delicious!! Thursday $1 domestic drafts and if course my favorite non menu item… Coronaritas (frozen margarita with corona beer in the top).

Had to get my own silverware. Then had to get napkins from the bathroom. Server spilled my drink on the table and just walked away while I had to clean it up myself with bathroom napkins. Ordered our food and when I came out, there was so much grease that it was spilling off the plate. Typically live El Toro but this experience has ruined that forever. Do not go here unless you want to get sick and serve yourself.
