Update. They started drastically downsizing portion serving sizes which makes a huge difference and what you used to get versus what you get now. You got about a quarter of what was posted in these photos. No longer my top choice on places to go. What a shame.

Has gone down a little bit in a year. Service was really slow. Had to ask several times for refills. Had to ask for more salsa & missing jalapenos. Chicken nachos we’re not made correctly, has shredded cheese on them & had to order cheese dip on the side. It was terrible actually.

The food was delicious. We especially liked the chorizo queso dip. So good! The chicken chimichangas were on special and they were great! There are a lot of options for food and some great Mexican beers on tap. I would have given this place five stars but it took absolutely forever to get our check. Still, I would highly recommend this place!

Today was #TacoTuesday at our local Mexican restaurant, but we actually didn’t go with tacos today, lol. We’ve come plenty of times for tacos, but this time wanted something different!
This evening we went with a Chicken Fajita Taco Salad and Chicken Enchiladas with beans and rice. Both classic dishes were spot on for the quick in-and-out experience. Food was cooked just right with all the right balance to make the flavors pop! My wife added a side of fresh jalapenos that spiced things up a bit. As you know sometimes jalapenos can be hot, and sometimes not, but tonight they were definitely hot, just the way she likes them! ️
Parking was easy even though the lot was packed, the atmosphere was festive and friendly, and René (manager) made his rounds ensuring everyone felt welcomed!

Got my coupon flyer in mail today. El Toro said they were #1 for past 9 years. Tacos tonight! Ordered food and the anticipation of tasting #1 food for 9 years in a row was growing. Food on the table so I unwrap silver ware. Expecting to have my ‘wow’ factor blown I take a bite. Well maybe this was just a bad bite. Nope! This place was no better than the taco made from grocery store box meal. Super disappointed with meal didn’t even finish it and not even worth the doggy bag to take home. I would advise you to just go to Taco Bell since you know what to expect.

Atmosphere was inviting and warm.
Staff was kind, attentive, and quick.
Cleanliness was 4 of 5, a little dust in high places but nothing to worry about on the dining surfaces.
The parking lot is big and you can fit an RV in it.
We enjoyed this quick bite. Delicious from start to finish.

Great Mexican food that is authentic. No complaints, everything was fantastic and we will definitely be back.
I’ve been to a few of the Mexican places around Dayton and this is one of the better ones. The scallops and shrimp are fantastic, but I’d recommend the fajitas. Soooo delicious.
