The place needs some attention. My booth had no padding, paint peeling off the wall and very dusty light fixtures. Server was nice but didn’t see him much. Food is very bland, little to no flavor! Refried beans were so watery that it fell through the fork, taco had more lettuce than meat, burrito was so wet like it say in water, rice was gross and I actually spit it into a napkin. There are much better options for Mexican food around here!!

The place looked nice and it was my first time. It’s a shame the food didn’t look as appetizing and barely looked decent. My burrito fell apart instantly, the meat didn’t have any flavor, the sauce tasted straight out of a can. I could have slapped this together at home. Same with the enchiladas, which is shown down below. The sour cream tasted like yogurt and I never knew a enchilada needed to have a cinnamon smell. It’s harsh but this doesn’t deserve any good ratings. I would put no stars but 1 will have to do.

El Toro is my favorite mexican restaurant with hands down the best fajitas, tacos, chili verde, margaritas, chips, spicy salsa and i have never had a bad meal. Been going there every week for a good 20+ years. Staff is always friendly and on point. Pricing is such a good deal as well and dos equis is always on tap.. im actually about to head there now.

Very good food. The service was good as well. I really liked their salsa. It definitely is an older looking place.
I had the burritos alegres. It’s described as beef tips, but it is shredded beef. Still very good, just not what I expected.
The seafood chimichanga was good. It had what I think was shredded crab and shrimp on top inside the tortilla. It was good, but not excellent.

This was my first time at El Toro Loco. The restaurant was really clean and had a calm atmosphere. We were greeted by a nice Spanish lady. The chips came out hot and the salsa was delicious. I got the combination plate with two hard shell taco, burrito, enchilada and horchata. The horchata tasted like instant powder horchata and no cinnamon. The combination plate was all beef it was kinda bland to me the beef didn’t have much flavor so everything tasted all the same.

El Toro Loco is absolutely fantastic! The food is bursting with flavor, and every dish comes out fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax with friends or family. On top of that, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes sure you feel taken care of. Whether you’re craving authentic flavors, refreshing drinks, or just a fun dining experience, El Toro Loco never disappoints. Highly recommend!

One of Chesapeakes original Mexican restaurants. They moved into this new building a couple a years ago. Simple menu, but food is excellent, never had anything bad from here. Service is always top notch. Very family friendly. I got the Carne Asada with 12 shrimp I added. Steak was perfectly done and tender. I love the sauce they add to it. Very flavorful. There flan is some best I’ve had as well.

I ordered huevos rancheros and they were way too salty. The tortillas were hard and the service was ok. I just thought that since the reviews were high, that I would be feeling a whole lot more satisfied than this.

I have been looking for a more affordable and good Mexican place in the area. My friend invited me for dinner. It was delicious! I ordered the fajita salad with a strawberry margarita. Amazing. The chips and salsa were really good too. Great service. Clean!
