We were staying at a hotel down the street and were lucky to find this place. The chips and salsa were great, the mole was incredible, and I loved the burrito so much we went back on our last night. The service was great! I’ll definitely go back if I’m in the Annapolis area again.

El Toro Bravo is a total win. I stopped in recently and had an amazing meal from start to finish. I ordered two burritos, and both were packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made fresh. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and every bite was delicious.

Great Mexican restaurant! The fajitas are heavenly, with just the right amount of spices, not too little, not too much! Beef and chicken are both excellent. We also had the guacamole made in front of us in an authentic molcajete! The waiters were very nice and attentive; the food was served in a timely manner, and the prices were fair. The only small thing I didn’t like is the advertisement on the underdish, it feels cheap, but all in all I recommend it vividly!!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our food arrived very quickly! I had a beef chimichanga and my friend had a fajita. My only concern was that it was VERY warm inside – probably 80 degrees – and a bit uncomfortable. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said the air conditioner was on. I will come here again, but maybe I’ll wait until winter

The salsa that came with chips was congealed so I let it be and ate the chips dry. Despite being one of the few diners, the waiter never came by to see how things were.
Food ordered was serviceable.

Our go-to for Mexican food in Annapolis. Same food as original location, without the traffic and extra time getting down West St.

This time I had the daily special, which was shrimp el mojo al ajo (forgive the articles if they’re wrong). It was delish! 12 succulent shrimp in a sea of lightly garlicky sauce with a side of rice perfect for soaking up the extra sauce that didn’t cling to the shrimps.

My dinner companion had the California burrito – very filling, enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day (picture with onions from my salad).

We liked coming here a lot. The margaritas and service is usually pretty good. Last time the staff played around with the bill and definitely ripped us off on a pitcher of a spicy margarita. It was pretty much double what a regular pitcher cost. The menu said it was only a few dollars more.

Very disappointed with this outcome. Management didn’t seem to want to get involved. This was, in my opinion, one of the better establishments that was a chain restaurant. I’d be willing to go back and give it another chance though.

When it comes to the spicy margaritas, seems like each bartender makes them differently and charges differently as well. May need to work on that.

First time at the new location, awesome from the outside but the interior is a bit hodge podge from the old French restaurant it used to be. Food is mediocre for the Annapolis latin cuisine, which there is a ton to choose from. Margaritas are good to go but a bit pricey. Miss the good old spot and the old owner. Wish Mexican Cafe was still around.

The food was flavorful and delicious. Layers of flavor with heat in the perfect placea. Vera Cruz plate, handmade guacamole, and arrow ranchers. Yum. Our waiter Manuel was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for lunch.

The food was excellent, and it was brought out in a timely fashion. The presentation of the food was also outstanding. I even had dessert. Everything was very tasty. It was my first time there and my first time eating out by myself. The amount of food was not bad at all, and for the price even better.
