⭐ El Toro Bravo — “Nachos for $18 and One Man Running the Entire Country”
Look… I’m not even mad at the food.
I’m mad at the math, the management, and the fact that I paid $18 for a plate of nachos that looked like it got drafted into war.
This was Midnight Madness in Downtown Annapolis —
10,000 extra people walking around, lines everywhere, streets packed —
and somehow El Toro Bravo decided,
“Yeah… let’s staff the entire restaurant with ONE guy.”
One man.
Bartending.
Serving.
Running food.
Taking orders.
Answering phones.
Probably washing dishes between breaths.
And let me say this clearly:
That guy was a beast.
He worked his ass off.
He was respectful, fast as humanly possible, and doing the job of FOUR people while management hid in the shadows like raccoons.
The problem wasn’t him.
The problem was whoever thought this was a good business plan.
Now the food…
Bruh.
That $18 nacho plate looked like it was portioned by someone who didn’t want to share.
I’ve seen bigger servings fall out of a broken Taco Bell bag.
Again — not the server’s fault.
He did everything he could.
But no amount of hustle can cover for management leaving the entire restaurant to one man during the busiest night of the year.
Final verdict:
⭐ because the worker deserves one.
The rest? Nah.
Do better, El Toro Bravo.

A new restaurant for Annapolis, authentic Mexican dish served with a smile. Nice interior, food was excellent, chips/salsa came out right away( always a nice touch), staff was attentive and professional. We would definitely come back.

I came to this place on my birthday while I was visiting Annapolis for a conference. I didn’t really have any friends while I was here, so I decided to celebrate on my own by visiting the bar for a margarita.
The bartenders were extremely kind and we all had very nice conversations. They celebrated my birthday with me and provided me some company which I really appreciated. The interaction was very special to me, so I must say that this restaurant deserves a 5/5 stars because of how much the employees there care about their customers. If you’re in town, I recommend visiting this place for your next lunch. The food was great as was the alcohol.

The waiter was extremely rude and disrespectful. He claimed to be the manager, but never greeted us and even threw the silverware on the table. We ordered a Ribeye and he brought carne asada instead. When we told him that was not what we ordered, he argued with us. His only “solution” was to remove the dish from the bill, and he walk a way from us! but he did not offer us anything else to eat.
We left hungry and frustrated. Terrible service and a very bad experence !

Well rated so we tried it. Food was fine, but nothing special. For what it was it seemed expensive to me. Chile relleno was good, not in the top 10 I’ve ever had. Refried beans were unusual, I wasn’t really a fan. Shredded beef in taco was ok, but seemed pretty much un-seasoned.
We missed lunch prices by 30 minutes and I wonder how different the portions are for the additional $5 for the same combo as ‘dinner’. There was only one other person eating, and service was good.
