Probably the best tacos in the area. I love authentic Mexican street tacos and explore Hispanic neighborhoods for great tacos. These rate right up there but they also sell hard shell and “Cali” tacos. All delicious. Meats are well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Tortillas are great. Then add in taco Tuesday and Friday prices, amazing.

This was my second time here. First time I picked up a classic breakfast burrito with bacon for my sister and ran. The man at the register was super friendly and we had a nice conversation about were was his family originally from and the like, my sister was very happy with the Burrito and I decided to go with my niece last Saturday morning, we were the only customers at the diner but there were a lot of orders online or by phone so we had to wait a little, the coffee wasn’t good, and I didn’t found anything to get crazy about the burrito but it wasn’t bad either, maybe I will go back or maybe I can live without going back ever. Gotta say this place is good. Just moved until the spot i guess. Wife got the bowl and i got the torazo burrito. I gotta say if they sold those sauces, id have a bottle of each in the fridge right now. I guess the red is a 5 pepper blend sauce made in-house and it has such a wonderfull chipotle tone to it i had to put the bottle down as i wanted to taste the ingredients in the burrito.

Service was good and friendly. The food was ok. Prepared fresh and came out hot but was missing something. But I’d try it again to see if it was an off day or me. Could be I was craving a tomatoe based salsa sub consciously.

My girlfriend and I don’t usually stray from our usual places to eat but we’re glad we did in this instance. We both ordered the carne asada soft tacos with rice and beans. The carne asada was tender and flavorful. The pieces of meat were a bit “over chopped.” I like bite sized pieces but these chunks were pretty small. The tacos were topped with cilantro and grilled onions. I liked that they kept it simple and didn’t put a bunch of toppings on the tacos. This way you actually get to taste the star of the taco which is the carne asada. You also get unlimited cups of salsa with a spicy option (red) and a mild option (green). The salsa adds a nice touch to the tacos. The rice was flaky and tasty with a few peppers mixed in. The refried beans were just okay and this is where I deducted a few points and thus, the four stars not five. I don’t care for refried beans where the beans are whole and not mashed. The dining room is clean and they play culture-appropriate music over the ceiling speakers which makes you feel that you came to the right place. Our cashier informed us that the restaurant is family owned with several other locations. The prices for the food are fair and with 2 drinks our total was under $30 dollars. Good food, good atmosphere, pleasant service = we’ll be back for sure.

Very yummy. Totally fresh. Definitely worth going to. And on top of having great food, they also have a huge selection of sodas and fresh mex drinks (including my hard to find favorite Pibb Xtra). I had the nachos with carne asada. I couldn’t even eat the whole thing. It was loaded and delicious! Will definitely eat here again.
