EL Tizón Grill – The Best Venezuelan Food in Bradenton & Sarasota
If you’re searching for authentic Venezuelan food in Bradenton or Sarasota, EL Tizón Grill is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and most importantly—the food is 100% authentic Venezuelan cuisine, made with care and tradition.
I’ve tried many Venezuelan restaurants in Florida, and EL Tizón Grill stands out as one of the best Venezuelan restaurants in Bradenton and Sarasota. Their arepas are perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the love that goes into every dish. The grilled meats are juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection, exactly how Venezuelan food should be.

Really nice small place but the food is absolutely outstanding I have never had an empanada like that in my life. And I’m Puerto Rican period that was absolutely the best empanadas and I can’t wait to experience all the other dishes that they have to offer

Very disappointed with this place. I ordered a soup and some empanadas and waited over half an hour. When the soup arrived, the meat in it was still partially frozen. The food arrived before the drinks, and when I ate the empanada, it was very cold inside. The service was very poor, and no one even apologized for what happened. We had to stand up and go to the counter just to be able to pay. On top of that, the prices are extremely high for what they offer.

This place has a good atmosphere a little bit loud on soccer days ,food was good ,service was great and I think the prices were just a little bit more than they should have been. I had a steak sandwich with fries and I think the steak was a little too chewy for me but the fries were delicious along with the cow stomach soup that I tried for the first time ever. Pops said that the burger was good

WOW is all I can say, the PATACÓN SENCILLO with shredded beef was out of this world, literally a perfect bite of food, sweetness from the plantains, spices from the shredded beef. Once you add the garlic and cilantro sauces it was on another planet. Thank you Armando for the incredible service and menu recommendations! 5 stars are not enough!

I ordered the pepito llanero and the tequeños, based on a picture that I saw in someone else’s review. ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS. The fries were warm and perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and potato-y on the inside. The tequeños were the most perfect little cheesy breadsticks (also a bit crunchy on the outside, loved it!). The pepito was rich and warm and incredible. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Food was Amazing! And the mango juice to wash it down hit the spot! I got full, but it was well worth it, lol! Next time I will bring more people!

Food is fantastic, they make it fresh and it seemed very authentic. Only reason for 4 stars the overall vibe of the joint is meh. I’d surely go back for the food, just don’t expect a nice restaurant with service vibe. The people were very friendly, but for non Spanish speakers might be a tad difficult to order.
