Super fast service and genuinely delicious food. Even before ordering, we were welcomed with a complimentary little soup, and it was delicious. Such a simple gesture, but it instantly set the tone.
From the moment we ordered, everything moved with impressive speed and zero chaos. The service was outstanding. As we were leaving, everyone in the kitchen and at the counter waved and said goodbye. That kind of warmth is rare and honestly made my day.
And then the cherry on top: the restroom. Absolutely spotless. When I walked in, it smelled completely clean, like pure bleach clean, which says a lot about how this place is run.
Great food, awesome service, and exceptional cleanliness. First visit and I was genuinely impressed.
If the owners ever decide to remodel and give the interior a more modern, polished look, this place would easily become a must-visit on every Dallas food guide.

I ordered their taco platter that highlights 4 of their popular tacos. Food was delicious and I really enjoyed all the sauces and cilantro and onions to garnish the tacos. Also, the black beans are low key amazing. Tons of flavor and come out hot! Solid taco spot for sure and will def go back if I find myself in Dallas again!! They have other food available which I pal to try on my next visit!!

Stopped by for lunch, it’s a small spot. They do have tables outside as well. Service was extremely slow, yes they did have 1 big table but that’s it (at the time) ordered the guac and for $10 they really should give you more. It was very very good though. They also gave a complimented black bean soup that was amazing! I ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana, very tasty, spicy and a lot of flavor. 10/10! Also ordered the Parrillada Tizon, it was very good and plenty of meat in each taco. I did order a coffee but it took forever for them to bring it to the table that I was already done with my food. They defiantly need to be a bit more organized as the waitresses were confused on which table was taken care of and it was getting busier. Overall, food is great and good portions, 10/10! But service could use some attention, 4/10.

The tacos were really flavorful and good ! I got 2 carne asada and 2 that had cheese also . I was afraid they’d have that broiled flavorless looking meat like some bad tacos places I’ve been to, but this was very good ! The tacos had so much flavor and the tortillas were even grilled where the meat was ! Many places don’t even do that and leave the tortilla white and only a bit heated. The service was good and the people are very nice , and the atmosphere is very chill. They didn’t have brown beans and rice that I could add to my tacos though , but they give 4 tacos for 11$ which is a pretty good deal. I give a 10/10 and I’ll go back for sure

I’ve tried El Tizoncito Forest twice now. Each time it has been about the same taste and presentation wise.
First off all, the servers were very friendly and there were no language barriers. My server was attentive and made sure that I had everything that I needed.
I had the Chicken Tinga Tacos. While there was a lot of meat in the tacos, the Tinga flavor was not as strong as some other places that I have tried.
The guacamole was not good AT ALL. It tasted like it was pre made and maybe a day or two old. Keep in mind that I love guacamole too.
I was surprised that they only have three frozen margarita flavors . None of which are strawberry or lime. So, I opted for a house margarita on the rocks. It was satisfactory and packed a punch.
Overall, it was ok. While I appreciated the welcoming environment, I found the food to be average and some what expensive for the amount of food that you get. The tacos were very small and I was still hungry. I would go back but not in a hurry. Check out El Tizoncito and let me know what you think.

One of the top 5 tacos I have ever had in my life. I was crunched for time and flinched when I saw this was a sit down restaurant, but they had me order to be within 5 minutes. Dennora served me with quickness!

The atmosphere was lovely. The food and service was delightful. The food tastes very authentic and the server that was serving us was very sweet and took care of us well. I got a Torta Cubana, Flan and Mango juice for my meal. I do recommend.

We’ve been coming here for several months and the service and food are good. The tacos and toastadas are flavorful and what you would expect in a true Mexican flavor. The condiments are plentiful and free beans upon arrival. The adult beverages are strong and the agua frescas are good.
