Stopped by El Tiz El Tizoncito on Lemmon and it felt like a genuine taco spot. I loved that they start you off with warm black bean soup and a tray of toppings—little touches like that go a long way. The gringa and chicken tacos were solid, and I could tweak them exactly how I liked with the sauces. Only wish the guac had more flavor. Still, good portions, friendly service, and a cozy patio make it an easy spot to enjoy

Pleasantly surprised by a delicious cup of bean soup that was complementary moments after I sat down. I luckily came during happy hour which is 2-6 Monday through Friday and got some amazing chicken nachos for just 7$! The staff is incredibly friendly, Nacho & Diana the manager and Yoqnnys the bartender were incredibly hospitable. Isabella made sure I had everything I needed as well. I’m moving in next door and found my new favorite bar/restaurant next to home. I’ll definitely be back with my dogs to enjoy their awesome pet friendly patio.

I’ve always seen this spot in passing and finally got to try it. I was seated immediately upon entering and was brought a cup of black beans and tray of toppings. My waiter was attentive and customer service was good. I decided to order the guacamole + chips and the 4 tacos (chicken + beef). I really enjoyed the tacos and being able to control what I placed on top. The sauces provided were good as you had mild and spicy version. My only complaint is that the guacamole could’ve had more to it. It was just mashed avocados. I had to add extra salt for flavoring.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and would return to try out of items.

El Tiz El Tizoncito on Lemmon is a great spot for tacos! Love that they serve you a bowl of black beans when you arrive — a welcome and healthy change from the usual chips and salsa. Their salsas are awesome too. We tried the Tinga tostada and it was fantastic. We also got the tinga tacos, and they made it perfectly after a small mix-up with the order. The waiters were really patient and fixed it right away once I explained. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for soaking up some spring weather!

My brisket nachos were great, certainly will have them again. The drinks were very good as well. The vibe was good well. The reason for my 4 star rating is due to the fact that the waitress appeared to be busy. I’m use to the waitress checking in after getting our food to make sure we don’t need anything but instead about 10-15 minutes after our food got to our table we had to call her over for refills and by that time it was too late to ask for the extra things I had needed.

1st time here and definitely won’t be the last!! Food was excellent and great serving sizes. I had the Pollo con Papa Flautas which came with 3 large flautas, 2nd person had a giant Tortas and 3rd had 4 corn taco’s with an amazing choriqueso taco’s (3) as an appetizer.
