I’ve eaten at Mexican restaurants all over the U.S., and El Tio Mexican Restaurant is hands down the best I’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything was outstanding.
The guacamole appetizer was incredibly fresh and flavorful—easily the best I’ve tasted. The combo fajitas were phenomenal, with unbelievably tender steak, massive juicy shrimp, and perfectly seasoned chicken. The homemade tortillas and chips took everything to the next level.
The quality and attention to detail in every bite were impressive. I was honestly surprised to see only a 4.2-star rating on Google because this place deserves much higher! If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Mexican food, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

The fajitas were incredible—especially the steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The tortillas were amazing, soft, and fresh, making the meal even better. Portions were great, and the food overall was excellent.
However, the service was a little disappointing. After our food arrived, our server never checked in, and they messed up one of our orders. While they were attentive at first with chips and water, the follow-through wasn’t great.

The food of great quality and the service was even better. As we were seated by the hostess, we were greeted with chips and salsa. Their freshly made chips are so good! My husband got the lunch special tacos and I got the Tio salad. Everything was delicious! My husband got a spicy margarita and he said it was very, very spicy since they use habaneros. If you can’t handle spice, you might want to skip the spicy margarita. This is a place worth returning to!

So terrible, so called Mexican Food. Sad their salsa was the worst. It was like eating onions with chopped tomatoes. Their sampler platter was horrible, who serves burned flautas? they do! Tasteless food! They don’t have good vent systems, when someone ordered fajitas, the smoke stayed within the restaurant. We smelled horrible leaving. We would not recommend to those who know and love true Mexican Food LOL!!!! Yes, we sure do!!!!

Nice quiet atmosphere for an early Sunday dinner. Place was very accommodating for 2 of our families (8 people). We all enjoyed our meals. Service was quick and good. My daughter (by mistake) did not ask to wrap her leftovers. Our waiter appologiezed and took care of her ny preparing new (to go) dish for her. Will defitely come back.

It’s the perfect option for hungry bunch! Friendly and professional staff took care of us as soon as we walked in. The restaurant interior is very vibrant and inviting. Architectural features , framed paintings, colorful ceramics and potteries will catch your eye. Fresh flour tortillas were soft, hot and made from scratch. Their Sizzling Fajitas were packed with flavour with a selection of add-ons: guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Amazing Margaritas! It’s kid friendly.) While the grown ups were enjoying their lunch, our little ones got to play with flour tortilla dough!!!.

The restaurant looked really nice with vibrant painted walls and colorful Spanish paintings. We stopped by on a weekday lunch and there were only a handful of customers there. The staff served attentively with smiles.
I had Al Pastor Tacos, it was cooked with pineapples and served with a green salsa, cilantro and chopped onions. I liked the Carnitas more, slowly braised pork tacos, so good!!
My partner had the fish taco platter and it was surprisingly good!! I was gonna get that too but I asked the waitress whether it was battered and fried or grilled. They serve them grilled and I haven’t had good experience with grilled fish tacos so I didnt get them. They were surprisingly delicious!! It had a good crunch and was well seasoned. The aioli drizzle went really well with it too. And the fixings were on point! I’d order the fish tacos next time I go, I recommend you do too!

Very clean, very good service, a little pricey but portions were large. Honestly top 5 ever salsa! I’ve been all over the world and for whatever reason it was amazing! Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised. My first visit since the restaurant turned over. It’s a great addition to the village. Chips, guac, fish tacos, soup all very good. Margarita was good and packed a punch.
