Pull up for the Tacos. The entire place is dark. There is more light outside in a cloudy day than there is inside the store. As soon as you step inside – its like stepping to the 50’s store type of thing.. anyways…
Food wise mm… the sopes where ok. The tacos have presentation yet flavor not so much. 5☆ to the food prices. The service was Great as well. But it needs an update.. some music and maybe 1 TV. Idk.

Todavía es un lugar bueno para comprar tus cosas/comidas mexicanas.
Parking lot NEEDS repair, a lot of pot holes and it’s been like this for a while.
Definitely need to be mindful of other shoppers/customers.
Some feel entitled to extra service because they know the owner or their kids/relative works there.
I’ve even heard some of them disrespect the carniceros because they wanted to be served first or weren’t paying attention and others got serviced before them.
So, that can be a potential problem for new comers that don’t know the way carnicerías work.

El Tío is still our favorite store to shop at from pan, carne, vegetables, and eating at the restaurant inside.
The restaurant inside has delicious food and many options to choose from.

This is real Mexican, fresh and plentiful with homemade tortillas and salsas.

The store itself is dated. But if you enjoy things like tostilocos, tortas, esquites, agua frescas and topo chico, stop in and treat yourself.

This restaurant is located in a former fast food building, so it’s not really a sit down dining atmosphere.
But the food is delicious, the inside is very clean, and the owners are very nice. Will definitely be going back again!

Great market with lots of authentic selection of Mexican goods and friendly staff all around. Bakery is the star of the market with great baked goods authentic City of Mexico quality! Kitchen has good food and butcher section is well rounded… Best one stop shop in Atlanta! Totally forgot the overall cleanliness inside and outside the store.

This is a mexican supermarket, with a great butcher area. Best in Mableton & Austell, better quality meat than across the street (Talpa). Try on the grill the prepared (seasoned) diesmillo (thin steak). Also the season chicken slicked in half for quicker cooking less chance of undercooking.

I would not put one star on the so called restaurant inside this place. Worst service, salsa bottles are filthy, takes for ever to get ur food, nobody cleans tables. Cashiers act like they don’t want to be there or take your order. They forget they get a check thanks to people like me, that buys food there. Soda fountain never has ice. Have to beg for salsa or sides that suppose to come with your order. Totally unorganized. No smiles and no greetings. The kitchen staff needs retraining. I felt I should call Health Department on them the 2 times I’ve been there.

I love the bakery department. If you have a design in mind they will try their best to make it happen. And they are pretty fast too! Usually can do a cake that same day for you.
