We came here for the first time today and wow! This place is wonderful!! I had the Hawaiian quesadilla and my fiance had the El Cazulean. They serve large portions at reasonable prices. The margaritas are tasty. My quesadilla was literally the fattest quesadilla I’ve ever had! Our server, Yuritzi, was attentive and has a beautiful smile that she willingly shares with everyone. We will absolutely be back! Support Madison County business!

i’ve been twice and BOTH times were so wack.
first time i got nachos with pico and beans and there was barely any cheese, it was cold- and i didn’t get any pico (that i paid for)
second time i ordered three tamales ($7) and they were hardly as big around as two of my fingers
the guac i paid $4.50 for was not even full.
was decently tasty , but still disappointed to have gotten what i got for $13 almost

Food was really good. They have selections that are somewhat different than other Mexican restaurants have in the area. I had the Timon Bowl. It has steak or chicken. I couldn’t decide so she offered both! I would get that again!!

El Timon is my favorite Mexican restaurant EVER!!! Food is always phenomenal (especially the Netflix tacos) and the staff is so kind. I’m so thankful to have a place like this in our small town.

Food was great. Ordered a steak fajita from the lunch menu and there was a lot of food like it was a dinner. The steak was cut really think and the flavors just burst in your mouth. Will definitely be back.

Very good Mexican food in a beautiful old building along the rail line. Nice decor with some nice old woodwork and tin ceiling tiles. Good prices with fast and friendly service. My wife is Mexican and she gave it great reviews as well.

Service is always good, and food is fantastic. Maybe you could work on a little decor and atmosphere by filling the nostly bare walls and a speaker in the side part of restaurant. Been here many times for dine in and takeout.
