El Tiempo Cantina in Webster is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Tex-Mex in the area! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, lively, and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making sure everything is perfect throughout the meal.
The fajitas are absolutely incredible—tender, flavorful, and served sizzling hot with fresh tortillas. The portions are generous, and everything comes out fresh and well-seasoned.

I was really disappointed with my meal. The steak fajitas had no flavor at all, and the chicken fajitas were soggy, almost like they had been sitting in a freezer for way too long. The red salsa tasted burnt. Both the regular rice and the cilantro rice had no seasoning or taste, which made the meal even more underwhelming.
I do want to point out the positives: the cheese dip was actually the best part, and the grilled onions that came with the chicken and steak fajitas were really good. But unfortunately, the rest of the food just didn’t meet expectations. Overall, not a great experience.

Visiting Houston and enjoyed some great food and drinks…our table of 5 shared a huge order of steak and chicken fajitas, along with all the sides. Started with great queso and of course complimentary chips/salsa. Service good, not great, but server did have several large tables. Noise level was high…way high. Maybe another frozen margarita (recommended) would have helped. Would return if back in Houston.

From the moment we sat down, Ruben was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — and Ruben’s recommendations were spot on. The service was superb, timely, and made us feel truly taken care of. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. If you visit El Tiempo, ask for Ruben — you won’t be disappointed!

El tiempo is just a great go to restaurant for tex-mex. I tried out this place because it was right off the freeway and just right there next to galveston. Not as good as the original. Nonetheless, and margaritas never disappoint. The cheese enchiladas were very filling. The fajitas easily could feed couple of people. So we had some great leftovers.
