The food came within 5 minutes! And it was the most delicious burrito in queso blanco I ever had. The grilled vegetables in the burrito were delicious and queso was Amazing. Chips and salsa were ok. Glass of milk was huge

Great food. Fast friendly service. Great value. I love how they serve the salsa. You get to fill your own bowl so people can share easier. The food was great and there was so much I had enough to take home for lunch the next day.

I rate Mexican restaurants nationwide, and El Tequila is right up there with the best. Fun atmosphere, quick and courteous service, speedy delivery (food came less than 10 minutes after order), and delicious flavors cooked just right. Prices are very typical of Mexican restaurants (reasonable). This is my second visit, and I’ll be back!

I would say slightly below average. I travel a lot for work and eat at many Mexican restaurants and I was not impressed. Seemed like everything was not fresh. Ordered the pico and it was days old. Then ordered the mix fajitas and there was like 3 small shrimp and 6 pieces of steak and the rest chicken… I wonder why??? For over $20 in this market thats not good! Would look elsewhere!

Chips and salsa: The chips were big yellow corn chips and good for dipping. There was no salt on the chips. The salsa was really good, puréed and a hint of heat – 4
Lime Margartia on the Rocks: It was a really good margarita. It tasted like the margarita mix from Costco, which isn’t a bad thing at all – 4
Steak Taco:
Flavor: 5
Fullness: 5
Appearance: 5
The steak was chopped up in to nice size pieces and had a nice char on it as well as seasoned really good. The meat did not have any gristly pieces. They use red onions, which is a win for us. The tortillas were nicely fried on the flat top.
Chicken Taco:
Flavor: 3
Fullness: 5
Appearance: 5
The chicken was made with peppers but it didn’t taste like, but had good flavor. The chicken was moist. The cheese had a very over powering and distinct flavor which took over the taco unfortunately.
Service: Everything came out as ordered and was fast – 5

We had a chicken quesadilla and chicken enchiladas. Both were very tasty and nice serving sizes. The chips and salsa were fresh and service was prompt and courteous. The menu was broad with above average choices. We also had the lime margaritas, large on special at $3.99 each. Overall a great value and recommended.
