I usually really enjoy this place. But the last time I came they served us super hard stale chips, me being me I ate a few anyways (I got my wisdom teeth out 3 months ago and haven’t had Mexican food since then so I said it’s fine I’m healed I’ve been craving this for months and I got the good to go from the dentist) their chips were so stale that it gave my tooth next to one of my extraction sites a bruised ligament. I now can’t eat hard foods for another month and I’m not allowed to chew on that side. It even hurts my tooth when I swallow. I had my surgery in November, so this shouldn’t even have been a worry for me. your chips shouldn’t be hard to the point it makes my tooth ligament bruised!!! Im sure it could do the same to children with sensitive teeth. Genuinely upset. They’ve served stale chips in the past when I’ve gone but I was hoping that night they wouldn’t. Oh well I guess. Disappointed and angry:(

Me and wife love this restaurant. Best. Mexican restaurant in Tulsa ok. As busy as it was, still had great service and great food. Wife has the sampler. We recommend it. The tortilla soup was plentyfull. Loved the chips and salsa. Great atmosphere.

Enjoyed dinner at this location. Service was good. I did have several staff members walk past me at the stand waiting to be sat. They didn’t acknowledge me and that is always something that bothers me. Service at the table was good and attentive. In ordered the queso chimichangas and it was tasty. Not much crispy to it though and when something is deep fried I want that crisp. These were a bit more like flour tortillas. The extra hot salsa was amazing so if you like spice , ask for it.

I typically don’t leave negative reviews and honestly, this isn’t all that bad. The restaurant is very nice and clean and staff was on point. My boyfriend took me there the other day. One of my favorite things to eat is Chicken Tortilla Soup and he remembered he had “the best” chicken tortilla soup there years ago. So we decided to check it out for lunch. If I wasn’t going into it with the expectation of chicken tortilla soup, I would’ve told you it was a pretty decent soup. However, it tasted nothing like chicken tortilla soup whatsoever. It was extremely bland, clear chicken broth, big chunks of chicken and a ton of corn tortilla strips but hardly any cheese or cumin or? I realize that not all chicken tortilla soups are the same. And I did like the avocado pieces in the soup. They’re bland in flavor too so that didn’t help the flavor part but I liked them better in the soup than on it as a garnish as most places do it. But this soup had no seasoning in it to identify with the Mexican cuisine, at all. Or any other cuisine either. The corn tortilla strips are usually placed sparingly on top of the soup and this one had a lot of tortilla strips-in the soup and on it. It wasn’t gross it just wasn’t chicken tortilla soup.

Quick lunch at neighborhood spot.. used to be another place and inside interior is still in places being changed. I got enchilada lunch (chez and beef) with rice beans. Ground beef was seasoned good cheese enchilada was bland. Rice beans nothing to scream about. Partner got fiesta lunch; shrimp chicken beef over rice with veggies and cheese. Pretty much can’t go wrong with that combo and he liked it. Booth was kinda wonky.. not sure if renovation or what. Decent meal not too pricey.

Enjoyed ourselves with friends some lunch. A little bit more atmosphere could brighten up this place. Maybe some music or maybe more color. The decor is a bit outdated that could be what brings some life to the atmosphere. Other than that, the personnel is awesome. Specially our waiter was great and very attentive.
Bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

Gracias Amigos!!!

2022 Original: Had a great meal here with the family. Monster Burrito, Chicken and Beef Enchilada, and Chicken Fajitas. Service was fast and friendly.
2025 Edit: Had a monster burrito and taco salad, food was good but not as good as before. Rice and beans on side plate were cold when served, appeared they had just microwaved the plate upon return.

I ordered via Grubhub. The carnitas lunch and the small aquachile. First of all, it was a ton of food. A huge bag of chips with two large individual cups of salsa. Carnitas, rice & beans in one container, toppings in another. The carnitas were perfect. Well seasoned, well done as they should be, and tender. The rice could do without peas, but it was well seasoned, as were the beans. The tortillas were excellent. The star of the show was the aquachile. Oh my goodness. Perfect amount of spice, the shrimp were firm. It was limey, and a touch of sweet with the mango. Tons of avocado on top. Absolutely excellent.

100% in the top five meals I’ve had in Tulsa. I prefer carts with authentic, well seasoned, carne asada street tacos . Haven’t had anything mind-blowing here. But this aquachile. 5 stars. And half the time carnitas aren’t crispy on the outside like they should be or they’re soooooo fatty. Some fat is good, obviously, but this was very pleased with this choice!
