The service was absolutely terrible!! There was only 3 tables occupied and two waiters. We had to ask over and over again to even receive our waters. The cheese enchiladas were tasteless and chewy like bubble gum! The pork burito was better but still not much flavor. My son ordered the chimichanga which was by far the best thing we ordered! Very tasty! Management really needs to step in and do something about the wait staff !! Terrible!

The chips and salsa are my favorite part and here they are very hard and thick. I ordered fajitas and the chicken was slimey and had fridge taste and not cooked to sizzle. EVERYTHING was pretty much not cooked right. My tortillas were so hard they were falling apart into pieces.

The food was tasteless and for Mexican food, you usually don’t expect anything to be tasteless. The rice looked and tasted like minute rice from a bag at the grocery store. Not to even mention the staff. Yikes. There are plenty of places in Jackson and I can’t asunder you that they are better than this.

This is a terrible place!! Be prepared to pay $2.00 for every side that they leave off the plate. The basics for a Mexican plate like lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. But then when they don’t give you rice and beans that are supposed to be with your meal, they only take a $1 off the bill. Incredibly dishonest, especially when they don’t tell you ahead of time that the basics cost extra!!

My husband and I both got the tacos. Hubby had grilled chicken and carne asada. I had carne asada and the barbacoa. All of the tacos were delicious and filled to the brim with meat, we’re talking a lot of meat!! The chips and green salsa was tasty, the chips seemed homemade and fresh. My kids split a chicken quesadilla and it was a good size with sour cream, guacamole, and Mexican rice. Overall we were very happy with the service, the food, and the price at this establishment. We will be back.

The rice looked liked minute rice with frozen peas and carrots in it, lots of staff sitting around with the exception of our teenage waiter who was working hard. Waited to use the single bathroom as they were cleaning it…when then were done I went next door to use Wendy’s bathroom as it was so filthy.

We took guests from Germany on a tour of Yellowstone. Upon arriving in Jackson Hole they wanted to try a Mexican restaurant. They picked El Tequila and the 5 of us walked into El Tequila after the dinner hour. 7/2/2016 7:30 pm ish. They had multiple empty tables. They refused to seat us because their tables were all 4 seaters and they wouldnt put two tables together for us despite having multiple empty tables. Our guests were hungry and tired. Their limited English caused confusion and frustration because they could not comprehend the rudeness of refusing us service because we were 5 people. We left and found another Mexican restaurant that was happy to seat us and feed our guests. I wont ever attempt to inconvenience El Tequila with my dollars again. Our guests had no interest in staying to shop in Jackson Hole and sadly a town we were excited to share with them was the glaring low point of our trip.

very good, the rice looked and tasted like minute rice with mixed vegetables in it, but the chorizo and beans along with the steak was so good, nice to have some good Mexican food up in the sticks ^^

This place has terrible waitressing. They were all on their phones busy and had us wait on them. They only sell white queso for $10 for a small size. Overpriced, bad waitressing poor quality food.

Totally surprised with this place. Food was terrific, inexpensive and humongous. I’ll go here again. It’s a little tricky getting in and out of the parking lot but was worth our trouble.
