Welcome to El Tepache Mexican Grill Tepache is a traditional Mexican drink that dates back to the pre-columbian Mexico and was a popular drink among the people of central Mexico. The base of Tepache was originally corn, but today, the Tepache drink has a more modern recipe. Tepache is a fermented beverage made from the peel and the rind of pineapples. It is sweetened with piloncillo or brown sugar and is seasoned with powdered cinnamon and served cold. It is store in barrels to make the fermentation process go faster. Tepache can still be found today in Mexico and served chilled by street vendors.

The place is really cute and clean, food came out relatively quick but most important the manager Issa was so nice and helpful after having some bad service from our waitress. He comped almost all the meal and kept apologizing and refusing to let us pay full price. He really went out of his way to turn our night around. The food was good it was just the service of our waitress. We will definitely return !

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I just can’t. The quality of the food varies, sometimes it’s amazing but, a few times it’s been meh, & a couple times it’s been awful. It really seems like it depends on who’s working on a particular day. Most recently I went on mother’s day and it took almost an hour to get my food, cause they were super busy & in the weeds, which happens everywhere sometimes. But when I finally did get my food it was cold. And after waiting all that time I didn’t want to send it back because I was starving. Which in itself makes me want to give it one star, but I’ve been there so many times when it was just amazing I’m going to cut them a little slack
