El Tejado has become my FAVORITE restaurant in the area for Mexican food!
Always on point. Our favorite dish is the Texas Fajitas (for One, is plenty for Two and I usually have enough left for tomorrow’s Lunch) The Steak in this dish is always perfectly seasoned and tender.

I got a grilled Fajita with beans and rice. The chicken was not grilled to me and had no season. It was a soft tortilla that I thought was going to be put on the grill for a little crispness with cheese on top. I have eaten her before very disappointed in the flavor of the food now.

We were so impressed! We were driving from Tanger Outlet to Bucees and needed something to eat. After using Google, we found this restaurant. We were so skeptical. Especially since it’s attached to a motel. The server name was Daniel. He did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. The Margarita were so good!! They had Strawberry, Mango and Blue. Both Frozen and on the rocks. My food was so good. I got the Texas Allen Special. Everything was so seasoned! My only complaint was the portion size. They charged $2.50 to add vegetables. Next time I will. My mom had shrimp tacos. They were so Delicious, shrimp were crispy and enough in the shell. My other mom had a taco salad and she loved it. My hubby order enchilidas Supreme, he was the only one that was in love with his meal. It had to much lettuce and should have come with sour cream. He had to request it. Prices are reasonable as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. If I could give 4.5 Stars I would.

We will de back!! Came in late around 830, it was no problem they were still open and serving dinner, and more patrons came in after us. Friendly waitress, very helpful! Food was so good, and authentic ! Ordered street tacos and enchiladas supreme. Enchiladas were excellent!! Street taco (pork) was fried up with a little fried onions and pineapple, a touch of sweetness, with fresh cilantro and onions on top! will be back!

Had lunch on Wednesday 8/16. Food was very good. Ordered the street tacos, I got the brisket and my wife got the chicken. Both were excellent. So good that when they were brought to the table, I forgot to take a picture for posting, just started eating . You will just have to enjoy the picture of the chips and salsa.
Waitress was super friendly and happy . Very rare to see this cheerful type personality at most restaurants in today’s world. Only wish that I had remembered her name so that I could have provided personal recognition.

Everything was fresh and hot. The wait was not long for a Saturday night. The house Salsa has some nice heat, and the Steak Alambres was HUGE! It was plenty to make two meals. Also they have an amazing Fried Ice Cream for only $3.50, highly recommended.

I have never been here before, stop on the way home. Right off 75!!! The staff was wonderful. The food was great and the prices I was very pleased with. Oh let’s not forget the margaritas, it was excellent, I would highly recommend a pitcher. When I go back that’s what I will be having. 🙂
