Reviews
The food at El Tarasco tastes like home. Every bite feels comforting, flavorful, and consistently amazing. They’ve managed to keep that same taste and quality year after year, which is rare these days.
But what makes El Tarasco truly special isn’t just the food, it’s the people. They treat you like family from the moment you walk in. And it’s not just because I’ve been coming here my whole life. That’s how they treat everyone. The amount of people I see on a first name basis with the staff blows my mind. No matter the time of day, when you walk in, the energy is always warm, welcoming, and full of life. And every time I leave, I’m in a better mood than when I walked in.
Everything about this place…the food (Crispy Tacos & Jr Super Deluxe – Asada) , the people, the atmosphere, just makes you feel good.El Tarasco will always be more than a restaurant to me. It’s my happy place, and no matter where I live, it’ll always feel like home.
I liked how they had a grilled fish burrito, but the pollock was kind of fishy smelling and didn’t seem very fresh. Portions were gigantic at $11. The burrito itself was a bit bland without the salsa, but then I could barely stomach the salsa because it was too spicy. They gave a generous large cup of the salsa though.
The breakfast burrito was tasty but very salty from the bacon and sausage and cheese.
They provide fresh fried tortillas but there’s no getting around the cilantro in the salsa so that could not try it.
I would recommend this place for affordable Mexican food.
I recently had it for my brother’s birthday and it tasted just as good as I remembered if not better! The chicken enchiladas are so good and so are their tacos Everything on their menu is delicious!! can’t go wrong with the margaritas too
