This spot is the best. We’ve been going here for almost 10 years and it is consistently delicious every time. The owners are great. We love the carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The salsa are delicious. We also get the chips and queso and the queso is one of my faves!

Just got my supper there tonight. The place was packed! They have had major problems with the ICE presence here in West St. Paul, including several incidents of direct harassment of the generations of US citizen-owners and family who operate the place, and I think the whole community is turning out to support them, and they’ve earned it! I had a bean, cheese, and steak burrito with beans and rice on the side. Everything was exploding with flavor – the steak on the burrito had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the rice was so good I ate it plain. I couldn’t figure out a good use for the salsa because the basic food was so good without adding anything to it. And yeah, my order was very basic for a place that has octopus enchiladas and a whole bunch of stuff I don’t recognize on the menu. I came to support the business, but I’ll be back because it’s 2 miles or so from my home, and I just love the food!

When I walk into this restaurant look at the menu and then ask a question which was do you have ground beef? And the owner says no they don’t carry ground beef because of bacteria. When you decide that you don’t want to eat there he says go to Taco Bell they have ground beef terrible customer service I definitely would never be back here.

Great experience at El Taquito Taco Shop! I ordered carne asada tacos with rice and beans and a chicken taco, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The carne asada was well-seasoned and tender, the rice and beans were on point, and the chicken was juicy. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Every time I come here, they take over 25 mins to make my food (food is okay btw, just bland tasting) but I went through the drive thru today the lady ignored me the whole time and was on her phone. I sat there for 5 mins and she didn’t even care. I’m really curious how this restaurant manages to stay afloat? Last time I went there, the old man tried to charge me extra for sauce that usually comes with your taco or burrito. But anyway, forget this place, go down the road and get yourself better Mexican food with better service who would gladly take your money. Don’t give these people your support. They don’t want it

Good food for a fair price. We love El Taquito so much, they catered our wedding via their food truck (which was amazing.) Open late too, so we can get a midnight snack when we’re hungry. This place is a staple on Robert St and stands out against other taco shops for me.
