Been many years since my last visit, but better than I remember. Fajita bowl was a large, tasty meal. Margaritas are generous and powerful! Not really busy on a Saturday night, service was quick for a large restaurant.

I was mind blown the minute I walked into this restaurant. Being new to the area there is still much for us to discover and one of the things we want to add to our favorites lists are restaurants. We hesitated on visiting this restaurant for its 2.5 star review on Yelp but we were really craving Mexican food. According to Google this was the only nearby Mexican restaurant. Im very glad we were brave enough to visit the restaurant; otherwise, we would had missed on such a delightful experience. The minute we walked in, the hostess pleasantly greeted and took us to our booth inside the bar area. The sports bar station was elegantly decored as well as the rest of the restaurant giving the ambiance a welcoming tone. Our bus boy consistently checked to see how we were doing without being a nuisance. We were impressed to learn that it was Sukei’s second week as a waitress because she provided top notch service. This restaurant will definitely be in our favorites list.

I have not had such lackluster service in Colorado until now. I felt like I was back in the south again.
Let me start off by saying this is a very nice place. The setup is very nice, very clean, and very welcoming. That was the end of warm and fuzzy. I sat at the bar because I was alone. I was asked if I wanted a drink but was not offered a menu. After ordering a drink I had to tell the barkeep I wanted food since that was why I stopped to begin with.
My plate came and that was the last time the barkeep checked on me. I watched as they made small talk with other guests around the bar. I wasn’t looking for friendship or fake nice, but it’s a good idea to see if the customer likes the food or needs anything. In the end I had to ask for my check.
No matter. I learned my lesson. Won’t stop here again.

Stopped in for a late dinner. Good parking. Restaurant is roomy and decorated well. Tables booths and a bar. Large menu. Good margarita selection. Portion size was good. Pricing was mid level- good portion size for what you pay. Staff friendly and attentive. Good tasting rice and beans. Chicken burrito was diced and had a nice flavor when mixed with the sour cream and guacamole. More than I could eat. The polo chicken steak has good flavor and chicken still hot and moist inside. A little slice of lime to twist on it would make it even better. Overall a really good meal. I wish the chips came with a side of the beans in addition to the salsa. Would come back if in the area!

Where to start. My friend who lives in the area had to take me to this restaurant. So, growing up in Texas, I’m always down for good Mexican food. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant were very impressive with lots of things to see bright colors. They also have a special hand carved funeral straight from Mexican, and I have seen at other Mexican restaurants that I found out where they are made.
Now for my experience with this restaurant. I am have a gluten allergy, so I can not have any cross contamination or I get a reaction. This first question I ask of our server are the chips made here in a dedicated frier or out sourced? She had no clue but asked. They are made at the restaurant and deep fried in a cross contaminated friers. The chips and nachos are out for eating, which is disappointing because I love the chips, salsa, and guacamole. I did eat the guacamole by spoon but not the same.
Next, I ordered my go-to, which was two cheese, Enchiladas with beans and rice.
The order took a very long time to come out with very little customers. I did request the grill be scrubbed for cooking my meal, so I was ok with the long wait.
Here is where things went wrong when I got my food. The beans and rice were perfect and loved it, but the two cheese Enchiladas were cold . The cheese used was not Mexican cheese, and cold Enchiladas are nasty.
I politely ask our second server for another two Enchiladas that are not cold. This came old very quickly, which I was happy about, but the cheese used was nothing but a liquid runny hot mess with nothingness with a corn tortilla. Soup mess.
If they actually used Mexican cheese, it wouldn’t have been a big goo. I took three bites and couldn’t eat anymore it was just nothing and very hot.
I was running late to another appointment, so I just ate the beans and rice and left.

So, if you have a gluten allergy, I would not recommend this restaurant due to a lack of options and cold nasty or soupy Enchiladas.
I would come here just for beans and rice. I will not be back.

This is my experience….

Solid Mexican at reasonable prices and generous portions. Be careful getting the fajitas though – that plate is really HOT! Friendly service and outdoor seating when the weather permits. Large parking lot, easy access off Route 121.
