For the my first time, I am extremely impressed at the atmosphere and flavorful delicious shrimp taco. The greeting at the door was warm and welcoming and made me feel as though I was having an authentic experience. I will come back over any other Mexican restaurants in Wilson, NC. Best in town! The service is excellent, staff is friendly, food is amazing (and you can get it about any way you want), drinks are phenomenal, and honestly the coldest beer around. Don’t sleep on their brunch menu either!

Tapatio is amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The service is great every time we come — the staff makes us feel welcome like family. We always go out of our way to eat here because we know it’s going to be a great experience. Highly recommend!

Came in with my family on a Sunday after church. It had not gotten crowded yet. Our waitress took our drink order and brought the drinks. She started to take our food order, and 2 of us gave our orders. Some people came in, and I’m pretty sure she knew them. She left our table without completing orders, sat the people waiting, took their drink order and delivered their drinks. Walked past our table and asked if everything was ok. I told her that she never finished our orders and that she just walked away and left us. We got no apology, the food was mediocre at best. I used to love this location, but they have to do better. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve gotten bad service or food that’s not great.
