Small family owned restaurant situated in a house. Food is made by a Mexican raised woman and was served by her husband. I ordered 2 beef tacos and a side of rice, and my husband ordered the smothered burrito. Both were good. I liked it better than my husband as I found the food lighter (not greasy) than most other Mexican restaurants I gave eaten at. Everything is homemade. For me, the only thing I feel could be improved was the chips and salsa. The salsa tasted store bought and we were served a very small amount of chips. They have nice outdoor seating on a beautiful wood patio. There were also a few indoor seat. Overall, I would recommend.

We are only in Sheridan for 1 night as a stop in between National Parks. I did some research and we decided on this restaurant. El Tapatio Dos looks like a house that was built into a restaurant. It is very festive decorated on the inside and it seems like a family is running the place. They were nice to us and the food was good. So if you like Mexican food and want to support the local community this is a really nice place to go!

Wonderful Mexican restaurant. Super friendly service. We had the #9 combo with a taco, burrito, tamale, rice and guacamole salad to try lots of things. All excellent and good value for the price. The restaurant is not too far off 90. Well worth the short detour.

OMG it was fabulous. Not a bad price for the whole family (8) either. O before I forget their churros are to die for. Hate to say but they are better than Taco John’s. Wonderful owners.

3 of us went in, and we were greeted kindly, and the owners small talked us and made us all feel like we made a good choice before the food even came out. For me, that counts a lot.
The food was good and plenty of it.
As we were leaving the young people working there were pleasant and started a conversation.
Qualities not found often anymore.

Very cute little place with excellent food. It’s in an old house and has a great patio seating area as well. I had the fish tacos which I absolutely recommend. I also really liked the salsa, it was mild and flavorful. I noticed that gluten free options were clearly marked on the menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. Parking is on the street (parallel) or I also noticed a couple spots in the alley around the back.

The owners are so sweet & the food was delicious! Please support this charming local restaurant! We were passing through & hate getting fast food, so when we found this place it was perfect, they were quick & made food to order for us to take with us!
