The most awful food I’ve had in memory. Did NOT taste like authentic Mexican food. VASTLY overpriced!
The enchiladas had shredded chicken that tasted like they were poured straight from a bag with no seasoning.
I almost never leave negative reviews, but I have to warn people about the poorest quality food I’ve experienced.
The server was great and the place was clean, organized and well lit… But you gotta get the food right!

As a Hispanic food connoisseur, this is by far my favorite restaurant representing the culture. I ordered the lettuce shrimp tacos 4.7/5 and my girlfriend got the tropical fajitas and it was a 5/5! And I never give out 5’s! And the food wasn’t even the best part the service was! Everyone was super friendly and made us feel like it was all about us! I think if this was in a better location it would be flooded out the doors from open to close!

Haarika was honestly such a phenomenal server and bartender. She had mentioned it was her birthday and she had such a welcoming and warm personality and was very helpful. I didn’t like one of my first drinks and she brought one to be remade with a great recommendation! Definitely will be the reason why we return! Thank you for your phenomenal service

Nice place near University of Cincinnati, good food and drink options. Service was good and ensured we are always taken care. Salsa had little buck of spice to it. They give an hour of free parking which is good for visitors

We stopped here late at night during a very snowy visit to Cincinnati, after discovering Skyline Chili was closed — which turned out to be good fortune. El Taco Veloz had a genuinely charming atmosphere and felt like a clear step above the average Mexican restaurant experience.
What truly made the night memorable was the service. The staff paid close attention to detail, and a special shout-out to Leo, whose thoughtful hospitality stood out. He took a few minutes to get to know us, made sure our food came out quickly, checked on us multiple times, and shared his gift for making people feel welcome.
We genuinely look forward to our next visit to Cincinnati and hope to return.

The food is decent enough, but overpriced. Can get better at any number of Mexican joints in town. The service sucked. Our meal took over an hour in total. Food didn’t come out particularly fast, but then our waiter just disappeared for 20-30 minutes. Had to go to the counter to ask for the check.
Plenty of other places to eat on campus. Skip this one.

Hhere you can discuss ideas further upon your job and life overcrhe great Equalizer nachos lllll and beer. We have discussed in my previous classes the roll of nachos in the loaded ed fry pantheon. I trust you will not fail the test given to you by the taco man. He watches you sleep at night . .

Had a great experience here on a Sunday night. Was surprisingly not busy around peak dinner time. Food was good with low wait time. Service was good as well. I recommend the Burrito Veloz. Why? Is it because I ate it? Nope. I’m allergic to tortillas (gluten) but my friend Brock (6’4″ but not single) had it, and it looked incredible. I thought it would be at least $23.67 but I think it was like $17.99 or something. I had arroz con pollo which was a solid option for the Glue-Ten-In-Taller-Ants gang. All in all, could be the new go-to in the 513. Time will tell.

Great place, food is on point. The Birria, is a hand crafted delight, the head chef did on his own and it is the most amazing I have had in the area. Staff super friendly, sericve is also super fast.

Leo was awesome. Set a timer for when I needed beer and was 19 seconds off from when I asked him for another. Best bartender in town. Burrito Pastor was phenomenal. Can’t say enough how awesome Leo was. Best service ever. Definitely eat/drink here and tip him good when you can.
