Its sort of a hidden gem, but those that live nearby are in there regularly. They’re definitely some of the best & most affordable tacos in the Chamblee area. I got two tacos this visit, barbacoa & chorizo. The chorizo taco was so flavorful. However, the barbacoa was lacking a bit, which was disappointing. Get some salsa on the side. Also try the mango juice or horchata. Service is quick, but they stay busy, so be patient.

I was looking for a place that would make a burrito exactly how I want it, and I randomly chose this place just driving by and turned in,,,,,, Great Choice!!! I don’t eat meat, so I cannot comment on that. I asked the young lady if they could do rice, beans, cheese, scrambled eggs and other ‘non-meat’ ingredients in a burrito, and they did exactly that, and it tasted GREAT… The refried beans was the highlight,,,,amazing. I could not let it get cold, so I sat there and ate,, absolutely not fancy but tables were clean. I did see them bring food out to one or two customers, that was cool,,,, but I did NOT NEED service like that tho, so I can’t comment on that. It was quite busy there, but still had a good time sitting with a friend enjoying my burrito,,,, I Will Go Back!!!!

Very good, authentic tacos. The tortillas or soft shells are amazing! I give those a 5+, the steak on the carne asada taco was good but nothing to rave about. The food came out super fast and the staff were nice. It looks run down but don’t let it deture you. I’d rate it 4.5 if I could.

i ordered 3 tacos – pastor, asada, and lengua. i would rank them in that order too. pastor was BOMB, so tender and flavorful. asada was pretty standard. lengua was very tender but really lacked in flavor which was disappointing. i also got a mango agua but you can’t go wrong with that.

These are the worst tacos I’ve had in a while. I got 3 tacos de carnitas. Total was 10.04. I don’t care if these are the cheapest you can get in the area, they’re terrible. It tasted sort of like dishwater. The carnitas was not very flavorful, and the tortillas were soaked with moisture and tearing apart while simply unwrapping the foil. There is no flavor on taco meat, not even salt. The tortilla got wet,”soaked in moisture”. And if they ask if you want EVERYTHING on the taco say no because you will ONLY find tons of onion and NO cilantro and about a 1/4 cup of hot sauce on taco. They are simple and plain, worse taco I’ve tried. Sauce is hot but again NO flavor. I order and ate them in car. I had to ask for cilantro and onion and that’s what they gave me. In pic you will see all the wet tortillas I had to trash….very disapointed. Paid 50 dollars on this. Taco bell is better then this. They need to clean their grill more often I found small burnt pieces of meat.

We have been coming here for years. It’s always been good. Recently though they have really disappointed.Last week we ordered a torta de jamon with extra avocado and no onions. This is what I got. I was so disappointed! First of all no extra avocado and it had excessive onions. It was soggy and sloppy. We also ordered tacos and also not good. The meat was very bland. There are so many better options on Buford Hwy. if you want good Mexican food.

Drive thru authentic food?! Yes please! I saw this place on Yelp previously and decided to try them out since I was in the area and was a little short on time. It’s a small building with inside seating and because of the cold weather they do have tarp up. You drive to the side of the building where the menu is located. Unfortunately there aren’t many vegetarian options. I settled on the burrito especial with no meat which was $6.21. I drove to the window got my food within a couple minutes.
Once I got home I ate my burrito and it was pretty good. They also gave me a green salsa which was slightly spicy.
I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other options.
