My family and I always go to the Pharr location every Sunday, we are regulars. We just so happened to go to this location last weekend. Staff is extremely rude and are annoyed??? If they don’t like their job they should find another way to make a living. Will never come back to this location. Also the food was cold. I politely asked for them to heat it up in the microwave instead of asking for a new plate. They rolled their eyes at me. Stay away from this location. Will continue going to the Pharr location. There is amazing service there and we’re always greeted.

This is my first time dining here. I was a bit confused about how to place an order. It’s just like ordering fast food, and this isn’t common to me for a Mexican restaurant.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes and my daughter ordered the Enchiladas Rojas.
It was served quickly and hot. The cheese on top of the enchiladas is crumbled feta cheese. That’s different, but good! It also had lettuce and a package of sour cream. Again, different, but very tasty.
It’s also spicy. Spicier than I would have thought, but I like spicy!
Kiddo didn’t like the Enchiladas Rojas, so I will have those later. She ordered the Verdes instead.

They’re still working on the outside and all the windows have decals. But there’s signs with “now open” and it was actually open.
The place looks great on the inside, clean and (a lot) of friendly personnel.
The food is delicious and they are working on a menu in English. The photos explain a lot and otherwise the stay will gladly help you out with any questions you have.

The food is nice but when I order something and they repeat it back correctly I expect the item I ordered not another item I always order potatoes with bacon but about 4 times already they give me chorizo with potatoes

I am so disappointed with the customer service today. I have been going to this location for a long time, at least once a week, and never have I had issues until today. I placed an order, and they gave me the wrong drink. I told them lemonade and they gave me a coke. I spoke with the “manager” who took my order and she said that I had mentioned coke which I never did. I don’t drink coke, so why would I order coke. She said she repeated the order and said she mentioned coke which she didn’t do. If she would’ve, I would have told her that I wanted a lemonade and not a coke. When I told her that she didn’t mention coke she kept on insisting that I did. Even though she said I was not charged for it, that was not the point. She didn’t take accountability for her mistake and instead tried to blame me for it. I hope the owners will train their managers better to be able to handle this situation. I won’t be going back after this so upset on how things were handled.

Elizabeth and her crew were the best. They explained their menu in a genuine caring manner. This was our first time here and it was great. The food was delicious. Great portions in their tacos that are served in their large homemade flour or corn tortillas. Can’t wait to come back for lunch and try their barbecued meat with mesquite wood.

The menudo was bland as if I was drinking water and little taste of the menudo mix or spices. Did tell the lady to give me more hominy and she refused by saying she didn’t want to be digging for hominy which I find that very rude. It was my first time going and had this experience. I bet if I would have asked for my money they would have refused.

Food has a good taste when its warm. I defenitly recomend this place, just be sure to order ahead unless you dont mind waiting almost 1hr for your food and receive it cold.

While the food is good, the service is lackluster, specially before closing time. Avoid going before closing time as the staff is more worried about cleaning and leaving than actually serving you. I was the only customer and waited for my food 20 min. Decided to ask why it was taking so long only to be asked what I had order. My order didn’t even go in. Go to the one on Bentsen Palm instead, it almost feels like a different place.
