A hidden gem in Danbury and by far our favorite taco spot in the area, and we’ve had quite a few! It just happens to be a food truck. The pastor tacos are outstanding and I always get extra pineapple. The birria with the consommé is also excellent. We consistently order the esquite, which is hot, generous, and full of flavor. Everything on this thoughtful menu is well executed, and the staff are excellent. Do not forget to get all of the sauces. El Taco Loco is the best!!!

They Birria tacos and quesabirria were soooo good! They should open more days a week. We called Thursday at 5pm, order and picked up in 10min, they were amazing and we are definitely coming back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The tacos are incredible, the street corn was the best we’ve ever had, and the Churro’s melt in your mouth. We lived in TX for four years and since moving North again haven’t been able to find good authentic tacos….until today! Can not recommend enough. Thank you so much for an unforgettable dinner.

I am in Danbury pretty regularly and I always try to visit El Taco Loco. Honestly some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. And everyone who works there is so kind. The Birria is so flavorful and rich. The guacamole is just perfect. Wish they had a few more vegan options on the menu, but other than that they’re amazing.

This was our first time eating at this food truck. 10/10 all the way. I should have took more pictures but we couldn’t wait to eat it all.. I got the birria tacos and platanos (which was a huge portion), boyfriend got steak quesadilla w. Chips and guacamole. Man it was so so good. The two sauces (orange and green) were AMAZING. Very spicy but amazing. The birria tacos were the best I’ve ever had.. thank you so much! We will be coming back for sure. ♡
