I have visited this place for the last 20 yers and I have tried their pozole, tacos, menudo, juices, etc. The quality and taste of the food has always been top notch.
Also, the place is well kept & organized. The employees have worked there for a long time and they always serve you in a efficient, attentive, and efficient manner.
Another thing I like is that rain or shine they open their doors every day 6 in the morning.

My childhood place to eat with my family. I stopped coming after a while since the food quality went down a lot and the tortillas where disgustingly dry however I recently came back after like 6 or so years along with my boyfriend. We were both surprised how good the food was! Even came back a second time and now I’ll be coming back more often.

I used to love coming here to eat, but the last few times I have visited, there’s always an issue with the food for me. The quality just isn’t what it used to be. Either that, or they are purposely giving me the scraps which clearly says to me that you dont want me there. Message loud and clear. They dont have to worry about me ever returning again. I just got upset when I was reminded of my last experience a few days ago. I didn’t leave a review then, but I have time today. Anyway, I believe it was either Monday or Tuesday. If the cashier or the cook reads this, then they will know I am telling the truth because they will remember. I ordered a Carnitas burrito with verde sauce cut in half. From past experience, I know to stay there and watch them prepare my food. Whenever I haven’t, they would always leave something off that I paid extra for .. like cheese for example, or cilantro and onion…Just little stuff like that..so anyway as the cook is placing the meat in the flour tortilla, from where I was standing it looked like big chunks of fat. I thought I was tripping and didn’t want to make an issue, so I said nothing…Maybe it was just once piece and I can pick it out once I get it. This is what I justified in my mind…No problem. So I get to the car, opened my bag, and notice the napkins stuffed in the bag are greasy. Luckily I had him cut the burrito in half, because I was instantly able to see that was something I didn’t want to bite into. It almost made my stomach turn. I pulled out 3 big chunks of fat.. absolutely no meat on those pieces..Just straight thick fat chunks. Like why would you mix that in a customer’s burrito? You cannot convince me that this wasn’t intentional, because he can clearly see the meat he puts on the grill.. He just didnt give a crap, and has no integrity about treating all customers right..I calmly go back inside and spoke with the cashier and showed her what I pulled out. She then goes on to explain that carnitas has fat on it.. I said “ma’am come on..you know good and well, Carnitas doesn’t come with chunks of fat like this, and you know u would not eat this. The whole burrito is full of grease. She offered to make another, but I declined. There is no way, I would ever trust that cook preparing anything for me ever again. They have lost my business forever. I’m sure they dont care.. but I hope this review helps the next person. Pay attention to your food before you leave.

I will say this, The owner has always been kind to me over the years, so I don’t want to bash him at all. I’m not sure if he was there or not. I didn’t even think to ask for him so that I could explain the situation because there was no point as far as I was concerned. His cook caused him to lose a customer.

First time coming here, the service was great and the food was delicious, I ordered an asada sope and lengua taco and tripas doradas taco. The tacos are full sized tortillas so careful when ordering or you’ll order way too much.

This place is fire ! Freshly cooked asada, chorizo, pollo, but it’s all about the crispy tripas and buche. All came on a big and warm homemade tortillas. Perfectly paired well with the strawberry fresco. Perfect Taco Tuesday.

Love the authenticity of the food and the selection is awesome. Definitely a loud locals mostly place but the Tostada Mixta is to die for. If you are used to commercial grade Mexican Food this is not the place most if not all the food is made from scratch.

Clean bathrooms and kid friendly environment is worth the daylight trip.

Great place to cater food from and hold a loud festive event. #LetsGuide

Yes, El Taco Loco #3 looks like a dump both inside and outside, and the door handles are a little greasy, but BELIEVE.

All of the customers here submit their orders in Spanish, the place makes its own fresh corn tortillas in front of you, it is open 24×7, and they give away blistered chile toreados at the front counter. These are all tell-tale signs of a legit taco operation.

My first victim during my visit was the “Buche Taco,” (Pork Stomach) a combination of crispy buche and soft buche, marinated and smothered in one of the most flavorful and beautiful sauces I’ve ever tasted on a taco. The textural contrast was wonderful: crispy salty bits, spicy and sour chewy bits, fresh onions and cilantro, and a heavy, thick corn tortilla. The sweet tortilla tastes like fresh corn, which is how a good tortilla really ought to taste. This is, without a doubt, the best Buche Taco I’ve eaten.

The “Tripa Taco” was dispatched next, and I found it to be worth ordering as well, even if it is not as transcendent as the Buche Taco. The tripas are slightly crispy, a little firm, delivering an “offal” taste, but one that is more pleasant than off-putting. The tripa taco also features onions, cilantro, and a snappy salsa verde.

In short, you gotta check this place out. And, yes, it’s worth going out of the way for.
