Amazing restaurant! We’ve eaten two times for lunch and our family of 5 didn’t get anything that we didn’t like on either time. Delicious, authentic entrees.
And the service is equally amazing. The staff is sooo friendly and helpful. Head on over and grab a bite. You will not be disappointed!!

If you want a fast, authentic meal before you head up the mountain to Highlands, El Taco Loco is your stop. I stop for breakfast most mornings and get a delicious quesadilla for lunch. A really friendly atmosphere and great service. / would recommend!

What a gem! Not much of an atmosphere but who cares. Incredible food. Quesabirria was so good. I love how the tacos are infused with the broth but still very crunchy. Usually quesabirria is soggy, but not here. Wish I lived closer, bc I would go couple times a week if I could.

Authentic “street food”. The Gordita is my favorite item. They make all from scratch, including tamales. Some items sell out early so get there early. Breakfast and lunch only.

Don’t let this place fool you because it’s next to a gas station. Coming from Los Angeles, i’ve had some quality mexican food. This place is authentic as can be, this place is us probably the best place in western carolina due to its prices and authenticity. They have a wide variety of sauces, personal favorite is the habanero. The tamales are the thing to get when eating here, they sell out pretty fast so gotta be quick!

We were hungry after a long hike and heading to Franklin to find a spot for lunch, but saw this place on Google maps on our way. It had 4.8 stars, so we stopped and ordered beef quesadillas with pico de gallo. The people were friendly and the quesadillas were awesome. It’s in the same building as a gas station and easy to miss, but don’t pass by this hidden gem. 4.8 stars does not lie!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on my way through, had the Tex-Mex beef taco, they were fantastic! They definitely got it right. Highly recommend it if you’re around, stop in.

One of our local favorites! Some of the BEST gorditas I’ve ever eaten and I lived in Texas. Family owned and operated. Reasonably priced.

EXCELLENT breakfast burritos! My girlfriend and I are from south Texas, love the food She got the potato & chorizo burrito, and I got the potato & egg burrito. Delicious, made to order. Their Salsas are all made from scratch. A lot of love and effort goes into their food and you can tell. We got the opportunity to talk to the chef which was really nice. If you’re ever in or around the area its worth a stop. Good price for the quality and amount or food you get.
