I’d never eaten at this place before because I’m not typically in the mood for Mexican food when eating at the mall food court, but I’ve been on a big torta kick lately and I saw they offered those so I decided to give it a try. It was delicious! Easily the equivalent of a couple of food trucks I’ve tried in the area, but cheaper and faster (and with indoor seating). I got a shredded beef torta, which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, avocado, and refried beans. The sandwich was as big as the plate, and so stuffed with filling that it was constantly falling out the sides, which made me grateful for the paper wrapper. Everything tasted great, both flavor and texture. There was only a small amount of fat in the meat. I will definitely be eating here again, and may try some of their other offerings.

This place used to be AMAZING UNTIL THE OLDER GUY started working there. I have a very specific diet and the previous staff were able to accommodate at a fair price. This guy charges almost double the price for less food. When I ask to speak to the younger kid who has worked with me for years before, he refuses to allow me to talk with him and won’t listen to me. Good luck keeping your customer base after the holidays! It won’t last if you won’t listen!

Pretty decent for mall food. I was happy they substituted large slices of avocados for meat in my nachos, and I was intrigued by their iced drinks. I would see the experience as a solid 4 stars if it weren’t for the fact that I found a hair in both my drink and food and ended up not being able to finish either. I hope this review might be all it takes for them to ensure this doesn’t continue to happen.

GREAT FOOD and GREAT PEOPLE. This little gem tucked in the corner or the food court at the Valley River mall is simply amazing. Great flavors and consistent. Not your typical “bertos” style Mexican food they are making some really great homemade Mexican here. We drove from Florence a couple times a month for the mall and EL TACO FRESCO!!! GRACIAS AMAIGOS
