We saw this place and tried it due to it’s quaint look and good reviews. Since we weren’t very hungry, we decided to share a fish taco plate with limes. I think it was mahi mahi, so good. And for 15 bucks it the spot. Good tables surrounding this little food truck.

My husband and I ordered the carnitas tacos (2 portions) and the chicken quesadillas and both were very tasty! The tortillas were homemade and made the difference only 3 tables if you want to dine in but you can always share with others! Price is okay, average portions for the tacos and a bit bigger for the quesadillas. 100% recommended

I can’t believe I had to come to Kawaii to have amazing street tacos like Mexico!
OMG- the steak and fish ones are out of this world. The steak is just like Mexico and the fish is so flavorful and so tasty. The tortillas are real, perfectly made, thick enough to hold the taco and a light enough it’ll fold nicely. Looks like they make their green sauce on site and it is phenomenal. Tasty and spicy. Just right.

Delicious pastor tacos, best I’ve had in 6 years after moving away from TX. All the food was great, with our entire group we tried the fish, shrimp and the pastor tacos as well as the kids enjoying their quesadillas and burritos. Definitely stop here for an amazing meal.

Probably THE best fish tacos I’ve ever had (I’ve been to Hawai’i three times and have had them on the mainland, yeah I know, not the same ). Classic food truck. Kind attendant but pretty apathetic. The food came out fresh and pretty quickly. The picnic tables are set back from the road but it’s the main strip through Kapa’a so the road is busy and noisy. A beach isn’t too far of a walk but it hosts a lot of homeless sorts. Might be best to get it and go.

This place might not be for everyone as it’s basically a food truck with two picnic tables in front so hardly even a place to sit. But the fish tacos are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Believe the hype and all of the reviews, holy cow were they tasty! The corn tortillas were made from scratch and they were giant tacos. The cream sauce was just the right amount to top the generous portions of fish and they topped it with Cole slaw and diced tomatoes and it was honestly perfect. I enjoyed it so much! The rice and beans were also amazing, not too salty, everything tasted like it had been cooked out of a Mexican grandma’s kitchen…which I think it basically was!! The only bummer for us is that they were out of carnitas and steak so we didn’t get to try some of the other taco flavors we wanted. But my dad got a chicken burrito with the green sauce everyone talks about (highly modified as he is picky) and he raved about it so all around, a thumbs up on the food!
We sat at a table and fed the chickens (sorry!) and my kid enjoyed that so much. We went right when they opened on a slow day so no our was there the entire time we ate!
Mariachis is a brick and mortar Mexican food restaurant literally right next door. Their prices seemed high and we heard about the fish tacos here so we went here and we have no regrets. We will definitely be back!
