Tremendous meal and great service. Nice outdoor seating and you can order at a window there in the shade. Enjoyed a nopales y huevo plate and a licuado de mazapán (so good) and a friend had a few breakfast tacos and agua fresca de piña.

The BEST and most filling quesabirria. Excellent service from Sophie who was kind, polite, and super attentive. We also enjoyed the chile Colorado. Definitely a new favorite. My only complaint is that I wish the chips and salsa came with a bigger bowl because it was so good! Caldo and Menudo available on the weekend. Taco Feliz and their birria is not mentioned enough. Underrated! Great prices. Small eating area and the environment was a little loud at times with the music and noise from the kitchen but not overwhelming. We will be back and will be telling our friends about this place!

This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived and sat down, it took several minutes just to receive menus, which were dropped off without any greeting or explanation. A few minutes later, our server returned and asked if we were ready to order, without ever asking what we would like to drink first, which felt rushed and unprofessional.
When we did try to order, multiple appetizers, drinks and food choices on the menu were unavailable. When our drinks finally arrived, they were not good at all. The food was even worse. I ordered barbacoa and received nothing but thick pieces of fat with no actual meat on it.
We also asked for green salsa and were met with an attitude, being told “that is green salsa,” when what was on the table was clearly red salsa that came with the chips. After that, the server never checked on us, never asked if we needed anything else, and showed no concern for the issues we experienced.
Between the rude service, lack of communication, poor food quality, and the fact that the restaurant seemed to be out of most items on the menu, this visit was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend dining here based on this experience. The worst place I’ve been to in life honestly.

I order tacos here yesterday the guy missed up on my tacos I called they said they replaced them but when I go get them she wants to charge me.. this is to all Mexican food places if you missed up on food yall need to replace if every food place here can replace food for anyone yall should be doing the same.. bad service from El Taco Feliz 2

My boyfriend brought me the chicken Verde enchiladas today and OMG were they delicious! The chicken was moist and NOT dry like a lot of restaurants. The Verde gravy was unlike any I have ever had. It tasted like a chicken stew sort of. Big flavor. The refried beans and Mexican rice were on point as a side show to the main event. They were average but who cares. The price point is in line with everywhere else in San Marcos.
The location is a little out of the way in a cute older neighborhood across from the Mexican meat market.
I will definitely try other dishes and add to my review.

The worst Barbacoa to ever have I got a total of 8oz oil with it.my truck console got covered with it and the bag tore my girl and my daughter almost threw up because of the mount of grease it had if you don’t know anything about how Barbacoa is supposed to be served then you shouldn’t sell it. Didn’t get any pictures because of how upset we were because now we to figure out how to clean my console and spent an additional 75.00 dollars on products to clean it off which didn’t work so thanks you I gladly appreciate the bs added to my life . update a friend of mine got a bean/bacon taco in the morning didn’t even eat half of it and started throwing up idk what’s going on there but totally isn’t worth your health .

Inexpensive staples that are sure to satisfy! Friendly staff Everything you would expect at a big sit down type establishment, at half the price, and twice the flavor. This food is fresh! Great Fajitas, I usually get the combination plate. dont blink or you will miss it! Just past Spectrum, tucked in under the trees. No facilities, wash your hands and go potty and wash your hands again before you head over!
