I had the Super Burrito with steak, and it was absolutely amazing — way better than any chain burrito out there. The flavor, the freshness, and the size (easily as big as my forearm!) made it a meal to remember. The salsa on the side was fantastic, too — just the right kick without overpowering the burrito. My only regret? Finding this place too late in my trip to go back again. Don’t miss it!

I recently dined at The Super Burrito in Millbrae and was thoroughly impressed. While I didn’t try the burritos, I highly recommend their fajita tacos. The steak and chicken were both incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also sampled the ‘Super Taco,’ and it was a feast for the senses! It was generously filled with delicious ingredients and was surprisingly light for its size. The restaurant itself has a lively and casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back to try their famous burritos next time

I remember growing up in millbrae and religiously eating el super burritos. It was one of my fond memories that I often reminisce about.
Although it’s been a few years since I’ve had El Super, I decided to give it a shot again and ordered a lengua burrito. It also came with a red salsa. That said, it’s the most bland Mexican meal I’ve ever had. The red salsa tastes like tomato sauce and has no kick at all. Lengua is not seasoned with any salt, pepper or other aromatics.
There are not many meals I don’t finish. El Super is one of those I begrudgingly decided not to finish. I would rather drive to Sunnyvale Tres Portillos or SF El Farolitos next time I’m in the area.

Came all the way from NC and we were looking for a dinner place that was not Asian. We found El Super burrito on google maps. The outside looked outdated but we were so hungry we gave it a try! It was delicious! They give you a lot of food and it’s fresh and authentic! Would come again!

I came to see if I had to crown a new King of California Burritos, but it ended in a tie. If you happen to be following my burrito obsession, this is the latest addition to my list. The burritos have become a bit more expensive with inflation, so there’s no more $12 burritos, but I’m not holding that sorry them.
Having just arrived back from Mexico, I can’t really say the atmosphere is authentic, as I think it might be an old Wienerschnitzel, but the drinks are authentic.
They’ve got Mexican Coke, Jarritos, Fanta, Horchata, etc. The tortilla chips are freshly made, and mine were even warm to the touch. The chips were so good, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to finish my burrito, especially after I saw it.
The “super” burritos are really super size. They’re definitely a meal, and maybe even a meal for two. I ordered the California burrito and watched as it was rolled. I saw a whole order of fries dumped on top and I was truly amazed at how she managed to still roll a perfect burrito. So why four stars?
It’s the sauce, or lack there of. Burritos put myself and Mexicans in a weird position. The food is really native to EE UU, so sometimes they try a bit too hard to be tradition. This is one of those cases.
In Mexico it’s pick your own salsa, and here, it’s basically the same. With red or green salsa added the burrito isn’t bad, but every major burrito chain has basically patented their own sauce for these occasions, so it might feel a bit plain.
If I ordered something else this would probably be a five star review, but this is a burrito competition, and they did tie for the best California Burrito, which is nothing to scoff at.
If you’re in the area, it’s a must visit.

Service was great, and food was really, really good! Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor and meat was well prepared. The portion sizes were perfect and prices were a littler higher than expected but overall great place to eat.

A great place to get some delicious dinner. The tacos are simple but full of flavor. The burrito was just the same full of flavor and full of meat as well. Service if quick and efficient, you can order in advance as well. Chips and salsa as a standard extra are also very tasty.

1st time here. Parking was OK. This place looks like a small hole in the wall. I walked up to the cashier, who was helpful with my order. I told him what I like and boom!!! The ladies in the back cooking did not look too happy. I would have love to see them back there dancing, you know, like my tias!!! But I did receive my order with a smile. I have to say, this place does not disappoint!!! I found my favorite burrito place!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

El super burrito is a 10/10 for me. I usually get the super nachos with jalapeño. We also had an el pastor burrito and tried the beef tamale. The food was really flavorful and fresh. The building is kept very clean. The staff is always very friendly. There is easy parking. I highly recommended.
