Mixed Experience — Great Service, Disappointing Food

The service during our visit was perfectly fine—friendly, attentive, and intentional. The atmosphere was also pleasant, with bright lighting and a colorful, lively space that feels inviting.

Unfortunately, the food fell short. The Al Pastor tasted more like unseasoned carne asada; we even went back to confirm that it was actually Al Pastor. Both the Spanish rice and beans were bland, and my chicken taco, while acceptable, lacked flavor. Overall, everything needed more seasoning—and, dare I say, more salt.

What made this especially disappointing is that I had told visiting friends that the food here would be good. Instead, we all walked out feeling it was barely marginal. It seems something may have changed in the kitchen since my last visit.

Work on the flavors—that’s what keeps customers coming back!

The food is very good, but a bit expensive for what you get. It is as authentic Mexican food as you can get, and the selection is huge. Staff are pretty friendly, and the service is fine. Not fast, but good. The tables and chairs could definitely use an upgrade.

Good food, many menu options and good beer. Not many varieties on the beer, but they have 2 of my favorite IPA’s on a frosted mug. The price is also good.

I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed, however my food still came out quickly. Everything was delicious. I got the shrimp ceviche tostada and cabeza taco and al pastor Taco. Everything was delicious. I will be back. Also the bathroom was super clean which is a big plus in my book.

Dear Lord is this terrible. Ordered a quesadilla with chicken. Got a tiny little cheese only one, smaller than for a child.

Quick edit: this piece of garbage was $10!!! 40¢ tortilla and maybe 75¢ in cheese. $10?! You’re seriously high out of your mind if you think this is worth it.

Garbage.

I’m terrible at remembering to take pictures BEFORE I dive in, but it was deliciously perfect. Very well-priced, super swift & friendly staff. Their menu was extensive but surprisingly easy to navigate with no surprises. Great portions. I got lengua tacos and my daughter got a classic bean, cheese, and rice. Reviewing so I won’t forget to come back. They have another return customer.

What an absolute cluster and ridiculous experience with a door dash order.

Got two super quesadillas via DoorDash, and they were an absolute mess. Super quesadilla is supposed to come in a larger box, with the quesadilla in one compartment, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa all individual compartments

What we got was just two giant messes of a meal, with the quesadilla crunched up in a small box, and the guacamole sour cream mix together like a damn soup.

$50 for this nightmare. And the restaurants response was absolutely ridiculous.

Such a mess.
