I first visited El Sombrero in 2024 for my birthday as a gift from my fiancés family, it was some of the best Mexican food I ever had. I travel to Georgia frequently from Canada and don’t have a lot of international food in my area. I returned to the restaurant last night with my fiance and the food was amazing!!! My favourite dishes to order are the carne asada fries and the street tacos . It’s flavourful and filling and I always have lunch for the next day. Our waiter was kind and gave us drinks to go at the end (this isn’t a thing where I live). Can’t wait to come back again!!

This was our first time coming here with the parents and we were very impressed! We ordered the grilled chicken fajitas and it was a huge portion! Chicken was very tender, full of flavor and juicy. Grilled veggies were cooked enough. Margaritas were good too! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing place! The environment wasn’t stressful or loud, and the food was absolutely delicious. Alejandro was an amazing server! He refilled drinks when they were halfway empty and frequently checked on our table. Will be coming back!

YUMM-O! In town to spend time with the fam and this is their regular place and it did not disappoint. The staff was attentive and the food was exceptional. You think all chips and salsa and guac are the same but not here. Fresh made everything. They brought a basket of house made pork rinds that were still popping. Ordered a skinny margarita with a splash of grand marniner, and it was so smooth. All just simply delicious.

The portions are plentiful! You won’t go home hungry. The beans and cheese dip is a great way to start your night! I added a Jolly Rancher cocktail , which was a perfect way to start my night. Later I got the Tacos al pastor, and they never disappoint! So flavorful! Added a margarita to finish it off, and I was a happy patron.
And our waiter Ramiro was excellent! Seems we get him each time we come here, and I wouldn’t ask for anyone else!

My husband and I decided to come here for our date night. We got greeted at the door and the host guided us to our table. Our server, Miguel, was PHENOMENAL! He introduced himself to us and shook both of our hands. He also informed us that it was his first day on the floor. His personality was out of this world. My husband does not drink mixed cocktails and Miguel recommended a smoky cocktail so he ordered it to try. Our food tasted very fresh ☺️ Thank you Miguel for a wonderful experience. We’ll be back soon and ask for you to be our server!
