Excellent food, good location, plenty of parking. Smells like sewage by the door when you walk in. Think it’s an on going plumbing issue. None the less the food is good and they have a 5 street taco meal! Been there a few times and always quality service/food!

Food was good! Everything was seasoned very nicely. Atmosphere was very cool! The design on the chairs were great and pretty clean place…. Our service on the other hand, not so great. We did not get what we ordered. The waiter acted as if we were kind of a bother.. he also never came back to check on us. A bus girl walked by and said can we get you some more drinks?! She’s was very sweet.
Also….. this place is expensive. For a kids size quesadilla, rice, beans, an enchilada meal, and two pops was 40 bucks!! Honestly I can get double the food for half the price at burrito loco right down the street.

Chips/salsa – 4/10
Food – 5/10
Service – 9/10
Marg – loved the options but green apple was 2/10. Worth coming back to try other flavors.

No complaints, just wasn’t our taste. Worth a try if you haven’t been!

Food was terrible is all I can say..I had the burrito the meet tasted like fish. The chips were stale, the salsa was just like tomato juice. I just can’t understand how many good ratings are left hor this place. Server did a great job, but that’s all we got out of our visit. Taco bell would have been better and I hate Taco Bell.

It’s been awhile since I’ve written a review both good or bad but I had to give others a heads up.

The pastor and steak tacos were great, the salsa is a tad bit bland compared to other spots but it’s perfect for people who don’t like strong onion or cilantro flavors. Rice and beans are good as well.

Compared to other Mexican spots nearby, I think the prices are very good especially for the jumbo Margaritas. $8.99!

Now the service… or lack of service I should say. After we sat around for about 15 mins or so, our waiter quickly ran by to take our order and got it wrong. My partner also wanted the 5 street tacos but he was given 3 and I got the wrong drink. The only reason it was fixed was because the nice lady who delivered the food took care of it. We never saw our waiter again for any refills and I didn’t get a chance to ask for any water. Last time we saw him he just ran by and slapped the bill on the table.

The other waitress’/waiters seemed to be a little more attentive to the tables they were responsible for, I don’t think it’s a staffing issue. I will wait a few months before I return when they have better service flow or I’ll just do takeout.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews and just give this place a try!
We came on Saturday around 2 and we were seated immediately, had chips and salsa & drinks on the table within 5 mins. We placed our order and the food was out in about 15-20 minutes. This is as exactly what I was looking for. They have a white cheese sauce that has been impossible for me to find here in the Midwest. Portion sizes are great, location is clean and smells fresh. The aesthetic is bright and beautiful with nice art, painted tables and chairs.
As a New Lenox local it is amazing to see this building have new life breathed into it.

I always know when the rice and beans are good the rest should be just as good and it did not disappoint! Mole was perfect and the portions were great. Food was served on hot plates also a big plus and the churros were the cherry on top! I will be back!

As we entered, we were greeted and seated quickly. Service in the beginning was sketchy confusion on whoever was the waiter. Chips and salsa were ok, nothing special. We ordered Cancun Special very tasty but needed, in my opinion, less onions and cheese in the rice and definitely more meat. It’s their twist on fajitas. My Gf loved her enchiladas supreme!! I’m thinking that as with all new restaurants, they will find their groove and become a much better and needed restaurant in New Lenox.

We visited on a Sunday early afternoon. I read mixed reviews, so I was optimistically cautious. The salsa and chip were bland. I ordered a tamale, and it was served out of the corn husk on a plate drowned in some red sauce. No matter where I order a tamale from, it is always served in the corn husk. Our table also ordered the street tacos al pastor, carne asada was good. The 2 burrito with cheese on top left my guest saying they should have gone with the safe option of tacos. This place is cute, very colorful but I think we will pass on returning. It’s not my type of mexican food at all.

This is pretty standard American Mexican food, you will get much better elsewhere.

The Salsa that comes with Chips tastes like salsa from a can. My wife got food poisoning from the steak tacos & I felt terrible after my dinner too.

Go to literally any other Mexican place around here. The food quality here is terrible, menus are pretty gross & the whole restaurant just gives that off vibe. Do not go here unless you want slightly-better than Tacobell “Mexican Food”. Hell at-least TacoBell doesnt make me feel as terrible after.
