This is the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant and we are very impressed. The Wifey and I went on a Friday night during the dinner rush and they immediately found a table for us.
We had Queso Fundido, Roasted Jalapeños, Alambre, Shrimp Tacos and two Lemonades. They were all delicious.
We particularly like the Salsa they serve with the nachos and we also ordered the warm extra spicy salsa they serve. If you like spicy things, you will love their spicy sauce. It made the jalapeños taste like green peppers.
The service was great even though they were very busy. It’s especially nice how multiple people will help out on each table.
We will definitely be back.

First time here. Very clean restaurant. Food is really good and well as service. Salsa has a kick but is perfect taste. Guacamole is fresh and tasty. Chorizo tacos are good. Fresh homemade horchata. I really liked the Mexican rice it’s one of the best in the area. Definitely will be back.

First time at El Sombrero and everything was absolutely amazing! Taco dinner: A+, carne asada dinner: A+, guacamole: A+, salsa and chips: fresh and delicious! The waiter was excellent — A+ service. Everything was great from start to finish. Thank you for a wonderful meal — I’ll definitely be back!

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant you will ever have. My husband and I eat here once a week and sometimes even twice. It’s always consistent and their steak is absolutely amazing. Burritos, tacos, ceviche, you name it, always perfect. The price of everything is also great.

Recently placed an order through Uber for delivery for my family the delivery person sat near the restaurant for about 10 minutes then cancelled the pick up when I messaged her if she was actually going to pick up the order , she cancelled the pick up with no reply , contacted Uber support and they said they were having troubles finding another delivery driver and said we can pick up if we can so we agreed because we didn’t want cold food , a couple days later we attempted to place an order and there is an incompetent rude unprofessional staff member/ host who proceeded to cancel the order , when we contacted to inquire about the order he rudely said he cancelled it because the previous uber order was cancelled and the restaurant was not paid which is False , The ignorant host must not have any idea of Uber Policy , Once the restaurant accepts the order Uber won’t refund it at all if you want to cancel ,you lose your money if the order was accepted and the kitchen has already started cooking , Customers also have to contact support to cancel the order and you will not receive a refund , apparently the host doesn’t have any idea how Uber Eats policy works , My dad had called trying to clear up the misunderstanding and to explain we didn’t cancel and if it was cancelled it was uber eats who cancelled, He claimed the restaurant was not paid and after contacting uber we confirmed the restaurant was paid and it was Uber who cancelled claimed it was a glitch in the system ,uber support said it was Uber Eats policy that they are unable to refund once the restaurant accepts the order which we already knew , The rude incompetent host proceeded to call my dad a liar multiple times making him feel uncomfortable and told him to call when the manager was in , When he called again to get the hosts name and to talk to the manager the host rudely hung up on him multiple times so that he couldn’t speak to manager , Do not Recommend this Restaurant.

Very good food, tacos with tongue and skirt steak, 100% recommended, but I didn’t like it. There was no air conditioning, I was working under the sun all day. All I wanted was to eat in a cool place. My comment is not a complaint, it’s just a suggestion. Fix that air conditioning or customers will look for another place to eat.
