This place may not be the fanciest, but it is sure delicious. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Food was delicious. Margaritas were good, too. We really enjoyed this place and would have come back if we found it sooner!

Yummy local haunt through all the years. Got to meet up with an old friend visiting in town and it seemed like a good place to go.

My wife and I enjoy Mexican food. We googled Mexican food and found El Sambrero on Artesia Blvd. The staff are amazing. Friendly and very knowledgeable with menu items. We stated with chips and salsa. The chips and salsa are freshly made. Probably the best salsa I’ve ever tasted. The menu has a variety of delicious items to choose from. My wife ordered the #6 combo. (Beef taquitos). The portions are a pretty good size. The taquitos were loaded with plenty of shredded beef. I ordered the #9 combo.
( Cheese Enchilada with a Beef Tamale). Both entrees were delicious. Combos come with beans and rice. The beans were creamy and full of flavor. The rice was delicious as well. We enjoyed every bite. Would highly recommend this place. If you’re a sports fan, they have sports playing on the tvs. We were there on a Sunday, of course NFL games were broadcasting that day. Come enjoy some of the best Mexican cuisine in the area.

I was looking for a new Mexican restaurant and think I have found one with El Sombrero! I ordered take out, however, the restaurant is spacious but cozy and next time I’ll be sitting down to eat!
I ordered the Viking Burrito (which I thought was a weird name for a burrito), and it might have been one of the tastiest burritos I’ve had in the South Bay! Every flavor was pronounced, the citrus in the carnitas, the beans, the rice and the AMAZING green sauce to make it wet! Absolutely loved this burrito! Homemade chips and their salsa has a unique flavor and is delicious! On top of that, the front counter person was SUPER nice.

Loooooove this place. My food is always so delicious, I almost always get enchiladas suizas and it’s so good every time. Everyone who works here is always friendly!

Quick was the name of this five star.

Quick seat for a Saturday night in this small little dig.
Quick service with chips and salsa and drinks.
Quick order taking.
Quick food to table.

But food didn’t taste fast. It was great and my family of 6 was satisfied!

(Chicken tortilla is one of my wife’s favorites but she didn’t care for this variation. Other than that, El Sombrero for a win.)

Standard fare that was on the bland side. I literally added hot sauce to everything from the salsa to the entree, which is something I very rarely do. The service was attentive and extremely friendly and the dining room is spacious and clean. It’s too bad that the food was lack luster…
