I took my daughters here last week, and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious, and even after visiting Kansas City, Lawrence, and other places, this was our favorite place to eat. The food, the atmosphere, the personable staff…it was a genuinely great time. They also served the best horchata I’ve ever had,too.

Amazing smell, delicious food. Walking in, the smell was the first thing that caught my attention. Service was good. Decor was nice and interesting. I definitely would recommend if you’re looking for Mexican cuisine. Parking was fine.

Ordered online and we were extremely disappointed. First, we ordered a liter bottle of coke that we didn’t receive. Second the food looked good but was so bland we had to get out our own sauce just to taste something. The veggie quesadilla was just bad. Who puts cauliflower on a quesadilla? It seemed like a frozen bag of veggies was an afterthought to the half of an onion that was on it. If I could leave zero stars I would. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Everything was good food was amazing and everything, we love our waitress she was the best and keep my daughter entertained, I gotta say the store manager was being rude to one of the waitress about a mistake that was made, My family and I felt uncomfortable about it, the waitress was super sweet and helpful towards my parents about the questions that they had but I gotta say that being rude to the worker over a mistake it is not nice the store manager should at least help them understand I do enjoy the food and everything but me and my family didn’t like the fact that the store manager was rude towards one of her waitress.

I went here recently per the recommendation of some coworkers. We were promptly seated. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which I enjoyed. I felt the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

I don’t know it just seems to me that El Sol used to be a whole lot better than they are now they’re deep fried tacos for kind of greasy can they charge me $3 for sour cream that I didn’t ask for and the strawberry margarita was not really strawberry I’m not sure what it was but it was kind of pink

Another gem of a restaurant in Ottawa. Lunch specials are hearty and the 99 cent margaritas are a bargain even though they’re watered down. Guacamole was divine! Salsa was ok but since I salted mine it got better. Service was quick. All in all, a great lunchtime bargain.
