Cedar Grove’s only Mexican restaurant. I’m torn between being nice and only saying positive things about this place or being honest and not holding back my feelings. Although the food is authentic Mexican fare the beans were abit salty and the Spanish rice was soft, mushy and slightly sour tasting(almost as if it were starting to turn at 3 in the afternoon) and the meat on the tostada was flavorless. The meat in the chicken enchiladas was better, however, I believe that was because of the green Chile sauce that comes on it. The wait staff was friendly and polite but that can only take the experience so far. If you are looking for Mexican food then you really should hit Sheboygan or Milwaukee. Very disappointing meal.

My husband had pork tacos and I had the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious. The rice could have used a little more seasoning. Rhw beans were good also. The salsas were excellent. The red was very hot but very flavorful. We love spicy. We will come again. They were very friendly.

When owner made me a taco dinner it was terrific. She made everything seasoned, and tried to make the shells crunchy like I prefer. She made the chips piping hot. The other 2 times the regular cook was there. Chips cold, food Luke warm, no seasoning on anything. Refried beans served in a tiny paper cup.

Food was not good – pictures show a Mexican restaurant, but opening a can of beans doesn’t really qualify. Meat is questionable, probably better off eating a bowl of cereal at home. Disappointed after the previous Mexican restaurant.

I was there for lunch on Tuesday,so I went with the $2 taco Tuesday special. Food was ok, but they added a topping fee, so the $2 tacos turned into $3 tacos. Felt like bait and switch to me. .
