Since my wife Sanjua and I arrived to Santa Barbara, our dream was to open a restaurant. Thanks to the support of our families and friends, we were encouraged to open the first El Sitio Restaurant on Salinas Street in 1989. Thanks to you, our valued clients, we now have three more locations serving authentic Mexican food in Santa Barbara and Goleta: De La Vina Street, Fairview Avenue, and Calle Real. This little restaurant hidden behind 7-11 is OUTSTANDING!!!. The staff are so Sweet and very helpful. The portions are very large and extremely delicious. The tortilla are as fresh as can be,as is all that we bought today. If you want authentic Mexican food AND treatment.

Best mexican food in Goleta ! First time there I got the asada quesadilla #18 , a choriqueso & chile verde taco & they for sure fill it up more than any mexican spot around town. Staff are super nice also definitely coming back

This place is unbelievably delicious!! Had the bacon breakfast burrito. The bacon, potatoes and beans were soooo delicious. And the portion was insanely huge. Highly highly recommend. Probably one of the best bacon breakfast burritos I’ve had

We got there late and they obviously wanted to leave and stop working. We ordered 3 burritos to go. They had to be asked 3 times to unlock the bathroom. I don’t think they wanted us to use it again bc it was already cleaned but my son had to go bad so they reluctantly opened it for us. We got our food and left. 10 minutes into our drive back home my son noticed that his burrito did not have any meat. In their hurry they forgot to put it in. $14 for a cheese and rice burrito. Not worth it. Mine was good but not worth the $14. I’ve had a lot better for a lot less.

Okay this place is amazing! The staff is always so wonderful too! Truly the closest thing to authentic homemade Mexican food. I understand that with any restaurant cross contamination is a thing but unfortunately here I occasionally end up with meat in my food, despite ordering veggie options. I just remove it and keep eating though so it’s not an issue but I’m putting a 5/5 either way because it’s so worth it. Other than that we eat here pretty often and I wish the company all the success in the world because they are so wonderful. Don’t forget to order your horchata because it just ties the meal together.

The food is amazing, a little spicy but it’s authentic Mexican food. The staff is great and they are friendly and very helpful. The building and decor could use a bit of an update but it’s not a deal breaker. Love this place!

Very good food, ate here all the time In high school, was cool reminiscing on the past. And was reminded how really very good food these folks make. Daily special 2 tacos, beans and rice for 6 bucks is pretty hard to beat.

Lady answering the phone is SO RUDE. I accidentally placed an order to wrong store and called this place to let them know my mistake! and that I was going to order at another location (to be honest I didn’t need to..) Well she says “ Why did you go there and why did they take your order? Now I have to throw away the food.” Like really? First of all I have personal reasons why I cant make it and 2nd of all employees are just doing their job taking my new order. I’ve worked restaurants all my life and we know that doesn’t happen! And if it does well thats not the right way to speak to a customer ; plus were humans and we all make mistakes! Not coming back to this location at all!

Staff is awesome. Burgers very good, but a little over cooked. Sweet potato fries and regular fries not so great. Price very reasonable. Didn’t try the pizza, but it looked good.
