Summit County’s best Birria tacos are here! I’ve never had anything that compares to the lunch here. The bread is also exquisite—so soft and made in-house. Skip the touristy, overpriced places on Main Street and come eat where the locals eat.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem! 11/10 across the board for food, service and vibe!
Tucked down behind the Snarf Sandwich shop, this place has authentic pupusas & other dishes. The birria tacos are to die for & both the japenlo pupusa as well as the mix pupusa were amazing.
The staff was so incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home the second I walked in.
Pricing was affordable for the portion size.
I’m excited to swing back through here in the mornings on my way to ski as I bet their breakfast sandwiches & breakfast burritos will be a contender for the best breakfast in Summit!

El Sazon Salvador Mex Grill may be a little tricky to find, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. They’re takeout-only, which actually makes the whole experience feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem. We ordered the quesabirria tacos, and they were incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cheesy with that delicious consommé for dipping.
If you’re craving authentic, comforting Mexican food, this spot delivers big flavor from a small, tucked-away location. I’ll definitely be back.

Deliscious food and kind owners! We had quesabirria tacos as well as many different pupusas. Everything was beautifully made, crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful fillings. Primarily a takeout spot but there was a table to eat at if its open. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us from now on!

Wow! This place is amazing. Quesabirria tacos, tacos al pastor, bean and cheese Papusa, and pastries were all phenomenal. The churro was the best I’ve had. I’m happy this place is in Summit.

Update: tried this restaurant for the second time. prices were too high. they explained prices were high due to high cost of supplies. food tastes good. good service. just too bad their food items have to be proced as they are.

Delicious pupusas and pastries! Love the service and atmosphere. Leo helps us with our Spanish. Perfect for carry out to take to the picnic tables at the lake, or for a hot snack before or after skiing.
So happy to have a panaderia and pupuseria right around the corner!

I’ve lived in Summit County for five years and this has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. First of all, the service was incredible. Everyone was so kind and the gentleman who helped us really took the time to explain the menu and make sure we were enjoying our meal. I got the birria tacos and also tried a pupusa for the first time! Everything was delicious, I will absolutely be back. Muchas gracias!!

Had a killer breakfast burrito to go here yesterday. It’s the kind you can easily hold in your hand and eat on the go. I’ll be back for lunch soon!
