What a great find! Friendliest staff we’ve found in our travels! Simple menu, clearly what they do they do well! We enjoyed tacos and fajitas and both were excellent. Food was freshly made but came out quickly. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was delicious and not a bad price either!

I am so stoked after my first visit tonight. The east mountains have been lacking a good Mexican food place for a while. Then this place opens up only 10 minutes away. Agains all odds I finally found a good carne asada burrito just how I want it. And the tacos were delicious and done right. The calabacitas were very good too, especiallywithcthe tacos. Price is reasonable (everything is expensive now but their prices are as good as anywhere in Albuquerque). Ya, Im just really excited that I have great Mexican food and its right in Cedar Crest!
Oh, and they have a little salsa bar AND El Yucateca hot sauce, universaly recognized as the best brand there is. They have the red. I knew when I saw that I was in good hands.

A family favorite has returned! I can’t tell you how excited we were to see these guys return. The menu may be reduced, but the quality isn’t. Our order was 3 different burritos, a taco plate, and a gordita. No one was disappointed, not even the toddler. No pictures, we ate it too fast.
Welcome back, guys. You’ve done yourselves proud!

First time in since El Mariachi closed its doors. We did a take out order for lunch on Saturday – two orders of nachos with carnitas and the fried elotes. They packaged everything up so nicely. The chips were in separate containers and the toppings in another. They even gave us a side of cheese and queso sauce. The nachos were great and the elotes made a delicious appetizer. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu!

Truly magnificent. We got a carne asada burrito and calabacitas enchiladas and couldn’t have been happier.
For the carnivores & omnivores: don’t sleep on the vegan options, they’re every bit as good as the stuff you’re used to.
For the vegans: run, don’t walk
I’m glad this place is currently closed three days a week for the sake of my wallet and beltline because I can’t wait to go back early and often

I think the food has actually gotten better since the re-opening. It was fantastic. Service was top notch as always

So very excited to have this restaurant back!! We missed them so much during their hiatus! They even have a new little salsa bar! The service was excellent as always, and their menu still has great vegan and vegetarian options! With that being said, I do think the price of just a bean and cheese burrito was a bit much. $10.99 for beans and cheese and a tortilla is wild. I understand if you are adding a more expensive protein that price is great, but my burrito was barely larger than a $2 Taco Bell burrito. Since they are so kind to their vegetarian and vegan customers maybe looking into some leeway/ pricing differences would be appreciated ❤️

Oz is back! The barbicosa tacos were deliciously savory and the new homemade tres leches cake is one of the best I’ve had! You won’t be disappointed
